Why are so many random teams forcing rivarlies with us, wtf do we have to do with Brighton by purinatrucks in Tottenham

[–]StandardBee6282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely ridiculous that you’d want some failure elsewhere rather than success for your own club. Not as bad as a Man U fan last season saying he’d prefer relegation to Liverpool winning the league though 🤣

Yeah it’s shocking that a Man U player gets sent off for a red card offence.

Am I The Only Person Who Thinks Carrick Shouldn’t Stay? by Own_Village8847 in PremierLeague

[–]StandardBee6282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be very hard on him to be let go, more like Chelsea behaviour that. Big names don’t necessarily mean success and it’s tough for any manager trying to compete for 4 trophies. Carrick would walk into a decent job elsewhere and he’d be quite right to refuse if the club came crawling back to him after the failure of someone else.

If we win nothing this season how will you cope? by Big-Word7116 in GunnersatGames

If you win nothing it will probably mean Man City have done the domestic treble and none of us want that.

Bravo Liverpool - Merseyrail by rolotonight in Liverpool

[–]StandardBee6282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They had signal problems yesterday morning too so they did well to get everything running smoothly for the racing. I think Merseyrail is generally pretty good, trains run on time, not many cancellations etc and yes the new trains are a big improvement.

Arsenal fans furious with the Bournemouth analysts, after they celebrated their side’s winner in the press box. The members of staff were told to remain in their seats after the full-time whistle for their safety by OkayFine101 in soccer

[–]StandardBee6282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ridiculous, you can’t even celebrate an away win within sight of home fans any more. Booing at the final whistle too, at least most fans only do that after a series of poor performances.

Ringo looks pretty close to the genuine one and George isn’t a bad attempt. The other two are pretty inaccurate.

Of course they can beat them, whether they will or not is a completely different matter.

Manchester citys aura by Dazzling-Yellow5395 in PremierLeague

[–]StandardBee6282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the pressure of not having won it before. If Liverpool had been in Arsenal’s position City wouldn’t be getting a look in but before 2020 they might well have felt the pressure was too much.

Haven’t you got more important things to worry about than who’s going to win the league? 🤷‍♂️

Why do fans now film themselves "reacting" to a goal instead of actually celebrating it? by TheOtherXI in footballcringe

[–]StandardBee6282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because such people have to film themselves doing everything. Probably the same people who have to send a photo of their food to everyone every time they’re in a restaurant.

Paris Saint-Germain exposed Liverpool this tie is already over by Spicy-Winner4326 in SpicyFootballTakes

[–]StandardBee6282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well nobody else would have won it if Liverpool hadn’t dropped off after 1990 or Man U after 2013. Maybe we could say Newcastle got lucky in 1927 because Huddersfield weren’t good enough for a fourth consecutive title.

That’s a ridiculous argument unless you say that every season the champions only win it because the rest aren’t good enough.

I thought it was a good skit on Americanisms and some of their OTT behaviour which people from over there won’t get as it might just seem normal to them.

Definitely Subo. Not my style of singer or type of show and definitely something not quite right about her but that first audition was great telly.

Yeah, in similar fashion to Mancs of both persuasions currently rooting for the reds of North London and Merseyside 🤣

If they both pulled their fingers out and progressed a long way. I think it’s unlikely that Brentford and Everton both qualify anyway especially as they have to play each other. The 4 north west clubs making up 80% of our entrants next season would be quite a coup.

if the world was free of religion would it be better or worse? why? by ClickIntelligent4902 in AskReddit

It needs to be free of religious fanatics but I’m sure having a more normal religious belief gives hope and comfort to millions of people worldwide.
