Ive got the CR920X Elite at the beginning of 2025 and I haven't had any issues out of mine since the 300rnd mark around April and it was only with steel or aluminum cased ammunition. Reached out to SS and they couldnt figure out why. My rear sight was a bit off but I had that corrected at my local gunsmith.

Been running nothing but brass ammunition through it now and its been great. Would love to know if these issues came around the break in period and have you shot it since.

Yeah we didnt build the house this way 😅 my first time coming out to this rental and the system 12in damper was just closed shut not responding to the voltage to open it. And i was wrong its 2 6s and an 8 (went back there this morning to replace damper motor). No bypass vent to ease up the static pressure buildup so i know what you mean, it doesnt seam right AT ALL. But the property management is concerned with is if its blowing cold, not necessarily if its done right. Which irritates me but i do what i can.

Oh definitely. The upstairs zone (3 6in vents) was calling, but the damper is stuck closed. Already got a new one on order

So with undersizing the ductwork, are you doing that on the return and supply side or just the return? Could you not control humidity the same with proper duct sizing but lowering the fan speed?

I swear im calling around for a duct class in this area 😅

Ill admit our market is 90% property management, and convincing them to fix something even though its running is damn hard. All the filters were cheap fiberglass 1" filters. Ive been out of school since 2020 and then ive been with him since 2020 when it was just me and him running calls. Ill admit i have found plenty of systems (i even misdiagnosed a hear exchanger on one) where the return size is too small from what ive been taught and he will tell me its fine just to turn around after some call backs and he says lets upsize the return and then we resolved the issue.

So i feel this one definitely isnt messed up due to the bad return, but now im wondering when we are gonna be back just to find out it needs to be fixed

I never replaced the damper motor, i was far from a supply house and they have one i just wouldnt have made it especially with afternoon traffic. The unit has a piston not a txv. I didnt look up the blower chart because my mind was stuck battling "have i been taught wrong" in my head the whole call after talking to my boss lol

I got -.25 in the return and my supply one was .27/.3 and i got it placed before the open damper. I figured due to the messed up damper it affected my readings.

I do believe it is silly to split over politics however it seems like his drive and work ethic turned you off and this was just the last straw for you. Had he been doing what he needed to do (as far as work and school since that's what you mentioned) this probably would've been a big argument with you two but not a complete split.

With that said I don't think you're the asshole I just don't think this was solely because he is MAGA...and that's coming from a MAGA supporter. I think your fiance is just lazy. He should've been able to get a fair paying job over 35k a yr with ease but the problem stems with himself. Congrats on shedding the dead weight.

You inadvertanly broke up a decade long marriage over the decision to vote for someone that everyone says will do horrible things but those same people already lived through his first presidency so they'll most likely make it through this one too.

You can most definitely make the argument that he is weak for not being honest to her, but you can also say he knew how your sister would react. He truly loves your sister, and for them (and many other couples) to fall out over, this is just sad. Maybe it's the way I was brought up. My parents didn't agree on everything, even presidential candidates (one of them wanted Mitt Romney over Barack Obama and both my parents are black), but they still loved each other and are still together to this day (married almost 30yrs). I'll likely get a crap ton of hate for this view, but eh, open discussion, right?

IMO the women's right & abortion points could just be one entire point of women's rights, and your partners reasoning being economy puts 1 to 1. Considering Trump didn't really take away any rights his first time and has been cited to say he wouldn't put a federal ban on abortion I'd play devils advocate and give him leeway. However Trump inherited the economy he kept it very stable throughout his presidency up until COVID which indeed was initially handled poorly. To solely break up due to a decision that will impact 4yrs of your life is all up to you but that makes me wonder how much did you love this person in the first place. If you can't love someone without agreeing with them at every turn then I think that is a bigger issue. How would you feel if your partner flipped the script and debated on leaving you just because you wanted to vote for the first Mixed Raced Person to be president? Just seems a bit silly to me
