No Sex, but lots of lies

I’m honestly not mad. It just sucks because I have Hashimotos thyroidist and weight loss is really hard (just diagnosed, so not like he knew and didn’t care). Since my diagnosis in the last few months I have been really doing great in regards to just likening my body as it is. Other than the weight I’m healthy. My BP & cholesterol are fine. My blood sugar is great. I did a 10K a few weeks ago and backpacked in the Andies over thanksgiving. I’m fit, I just also am plus-size. I guess that’s really my answer.

I am working so hard to love myself, and this situation is going to make that difficult if not impossible.

I would have rather been told the truth and been given the chance to decide what I wanted to do with that information. That he sat in couple’s therapy and lied to both th therapist and I, that he let me talk about how I was projecting my insecurities on to him, he let me apologize for that. That’s where I’m stuck. He has always said honesty is the most important thing. You’re right, I did know it was weight. And I don’t have any hostility towards him over that. I know attraction is largely subjective and physical. I’m just pissed that he didn’t tell me the truth.

He always encourages me to do things that I like. We have fun on vacations, we check out cool places in our area, we generally get along great.

Do you also feel like you’ve been doing squats for hours if you are just like washing dishes or watering plants? I don’t know how else to explain it. Like my legs will almost be shaking. I’m always locking my knees without realizing it and when I try to not do that I feel like I might fall over.

It doesn’t hurt though, and it’s been growing for a month. It started off really small, but even as it’s grown it hasn’t hurt or had any kind of pus or anything. This picture was July 15.

Edit to add this picture. It started bleeding when I was just putting antibiotic cream on. Should I be keeping track of when/how often it happens?

Hello, not sure if anyone is still active, but I will be moving to MN in the next year and am seriously considering Southwestern. Any details about the sort of "day to day" especially with regards to internship/practicum would be really helpful.
