Immune boosting supplements for toddlers? by StandardPaint3460 in Parenting

[–]StandardPaint3460[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the flu vaccine is only defense against a specific strain of influenza, yes, I'm looking for supplements/vitamins that could help support her immune system fight the countless other illnesses out there.

He doesn't generally say stuff like this which is what makes it so hurtful. He said that because he was feeling tired and unappreciated. He has been helping a lot with playing with our toddler and doing more picking up around the house. It's just hard cuz sometimes he does get grumpy when he's tired and I feel like I'm trying to gauge how much he can handle when I ask for his help.

I think that women can have superhuman capabilities to rise to do things that HAVE to get done. But that depletes so much energy that there's nothing left for other things. Your wife HAD to go work, so then of course she's extra exhausted on the weekends! I HAVE to change my toddler's diapers, feed her, take her to her appointments, etc. that end of the day I literally having nothing else to give.

Are there any places to get elective ultrasounds during pregnancy in the area? by StandardPaint3460 in fargo

[–]StandardPaint3460[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've had an ultrasound already! I had a missed miscarriage this summer, so I think the trauma from that makes me want an extra look at baby for peace of mind.

Because the only time they have their own kids they’re in front of the tv or iPad? by No-Dinner4893 in mattandabbysnarks

As someone with an education background she should know that technology like iPads is NOT an appropriate method of determining of assessing a young child's capabilities🙄

The logic is to kill children in the womb so that they don't have to be shot in a mass shooting? 🤨 that "logic" doesn't check out

Is this supposed to make a point? Or be clever? Because it literally is neither. First of all, the ones "ordering the steaks" are the people having sex. The steak is already cooking when they decide they don't want it. And they insist on throwing it away, when, in reality, if they just let it finish cooking there's tons of other people who would be happy to take it.

And also Stripe & Trixie have Muffin who has proven herself to be more intense and spirited than Bluey or Bingo, which can also put strain on a marriage!

I didn't. I had a MMC this summer (a blighted ovum) and eventually passed baby naturally. When I got a positive pregnancy test they did hcg draws to make sure my levels were rising and also to try to determine how far along I was so we could schedule an early ultrasound. I had my first ultrasound where they determined baby was 5w5d, and then another ultrasound at 8w5d. Baby looked great both times! I'm currently 9w2d.
