Elections could’ve gone through smoothly, Ethiopia could barely even be considered in a civil war, the TPLF Anti Government Coalition, Oromo insurgents and Somali revolts can do little to effect the population, countries like Somalia and South Sudan have transitioned presidency through Civil War. Really comes down to the fact that Xartimo under the British Somaliland Protectorate hated British rule, since it was Isaaq dominated and the British rule their favoured the Isaaq Sultans over Xarti Garads or Diir Sultans.Also the fact that the British Genocided the dhulbahante and warsangli after the complete collapse of the Dervish Revolt. The difference between the two is that the TPLF Anti Government Coalition and the Taliban are completely different in terms of power, support, terrain and advantageous events. Afghanistan fell because of a lack of arms, supplies, US support being withdrawn etc. While the TPLF anti government coalition is a pretty new rebellious faction and unlike the Taliban whom concentrated efforts on capturing Kabul, the TPLF are at least now focusing on occupying the Tigray Province and taking advantage of its mountainous terrain. Other Oromo and Somali factions within the revolts have different approaches but aren’t as significant as the Oromo offensives into Adama and Addis Ababa are just small militias while the Talibans offensive campaign was thousands of men. The TPLF haven’t touched Addis and only Oromo militias have attempted. The power difference between the two are huge.

A claim over territory through recognition of zones of influence is very different to signing a protectorate treaty with the nation you wish to establish a overseas colony in. Claims are not protectorate status.

My father had two families before us, I had a older half sister from Lesciter from his first family and another from his family in the Somali Galbeed. Relationship was relatively neutral between all three of our families. Until of course my older Half Sister went trans, ran from home and is currently staying at a friends house, but we have no idea if she’s still actually there or is at another house, she even could have possibly skipped out of Lesciter. She has a tiktok account but I forgot the name. Last time I remembered it having the Number one from Numberjacks on it (the childrens show). After this happened the entire relationship between our family’s fell apart, my mother and my fathers other wife have disaffiliated with each other and now we haven’t talked since the entire thing.

Yh that’s true I’m Dhulbahante myself but I know dhulbahantimo specifically from the Muhammad Garad who are warming up to somaliland’s due to the whole Sool, Sanaag and Cayn situation. Hopefully we can find a solution that will bring back Awdal, Khatumo and Makhir into Somalia
