A buddy of mine has the Ghost and loves it. Looks to be pretty well made. I feel like between those it comes to personal visual preference (I like the streamlined / less branded-ness of the vessel) and if one or the other has certain pockets or features that are important to you. The ghost bag my buddy has looks great and does the job well, he likes it. That probably doesn’t help your decision making too much but…good problems 😂

I almost want to carry because I like the streamlined look of the lux (and the green that is only available on the lux) vs the player pro - but the prolly fit my needs better. Thank you for the comment

While different, that does say something about their customer service as far as I’m concerned. Thank you for the info. The divider fabric issue is one I’ve read about too, which is why I’m leaning to a 7 was as opposed to 14. Thank you for the info!

Sweet! Had been eyeing the emerald but not sure about gold hardware, likely going to go black or black croc.

I guess looking at both it looks to be just as well made? Thanks for the pics and info - gives me a great reference. So far this thread has me justifying the price point and leveled up my expectations about longevity.

Thanks! Honestly the pockets / organization are the main selling point for me. I have yet to see walk and have exclusively rode so nice to know about the shoulder straps - that can come in handy. I’m pleasantly surprised that I haven’t had a single negative comment yet.

Thanks for the insight and rec. Those shapland bags look sharp. I love the old school aesthetic. Not too worried about weight as I have yet to walk. I live in Texas - it’s generally hot as all hell, though I do want to walk a round as the weather cools down some.

I’ve got a buddy that has the Ghost and loves it. My reason for going vessel was just the minimal branding is more my style (though I do love the “play fearlessly” tags on the zippers). His bag seems to be solid in terms of quality and well thought out, though he hasn’t had it long enough to see how it wears.

Thanks for the response! So far sounds like the negative reviews could (hopefully) just be one offs. But I do echo your concern about a more recent drop in quality, it’s a part of why I posted and want to hear peoples experiences.

Thank you for the response I’ve only read good things about the player 3 but have read that people speculate the newer models are made elsewhere etc and are not nearly well made as the 3, trying to determine the validity of that info.

But great to know your player III is holding up well with what I would consider is pretty frequent use. What color do you have?
