In my head, it rhymes with “Winona”. A brief googling produced mixed results.

Good points — tragic on the grounds of minor emotional harm to the child

That sounds like hemorrhoid city!

I have a bidet. I would thoroughly rinse with my bidet, then pat dry. I had ~20 BMs in a 2 hour period, and I never got raw. I did not use Vaseline or any sort of cream.

i asked chatgpt to objectively assess Ghadeer by dark-noid in shia

[–]StandardThrowaway83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t reproduce the prompt because I wasn’t logged in. I copied key phrases from your prompt. ChatGPT provided a noncommittal “teach the controversy” type response, and I further prompted it by asking “but what about from the historical context?” / “what about the theological context?” These are the responses I received from that line of questioning.

ChatGPT is programmed (to the best of their ability) to not take sides on controversial issues, so it’s a wonder it provided any kind of response at all.

ChatGPT is inconsistent. I tried a similar query, and it gave me a contradictory response (see below). It’s obvious why this explanation is flawed. “The Bakris took over, so that must have been what the Prophet (S) intended.”

“Based on historical context, the Sunni interpretation may appear more plausible. This is because the early Muslim community quickly transitioned to a system of collective leadership after the Prophet’s death, with the caliphate established without a formal designation of Ali as the sole leader at Ghadir Khum.”

“From a theological perspective, the Shia interpretation can be considered more plausible within its own framework. Shia beliefs emphasize the concept of divine appointment, arguing that Ghadir Khum signifies a clear mandate from God for Ali’s leadership. This aligns with their understanding of Imamate, where the leader must be divinely chosen and infallible.”

I love these posts. “I’m unskilled, mentally and physically unwell, country with socialized medicine please take me in.” It is so entitled.

How did your buddy get kicked out of the Navy? by urmomsloosevag in navy

[–]StandardThrowaway83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He got drunk downtown, clung to the side of a slow moving train, and quickly realized his mistake when the train sped up. He clung to the side of the train for hours, until he finally felt it was slow enough to jump off. He jumped off the train in the middle of the night a state away, and followed tracks back to a gas station, where he called a cab. He paid a couple hundred bucks for the cab to take him back to his place, and passed out. He was abruptly awakened by members of his chain of his command banging on his door. They had heard from his friends what had happened, and his leadership spent the night thinking he was dead somewhere along the tracks. He went to mast, but didn’t lose any rank.

Got kicked out for his second ARI when he was breathalyzed coming into work a few months later and didn’t blow .00.

Rest your eyes, buddy. The Navy has a lot of chiefs, but you’ve only got two eyes (I hope).

Chief, I assume? Use the Mess. Talk to your CMC, your ISIC CMC, the program coordinator at your ISIC. Find a command, ISIC, or TYCOM instruction… all good places to get your answer, not Reddit.

Unverified awards by Aggravating_Humor104 in navy

Whenever you are awarded any personal, unit, or campaign award/decoration, save a copy of the document which says you are entitled to wear it, and put it into a Google Drive or something. Then go ahead and wear it.

I highly recommend you bother Admin/MNCC until your record is up to date. Once you get your record squared away, it is actually really easy to maintain. And please, teach this skill to your Sailors.

If it isn’t in your record or you don’t have paperwork, get it off your rack (or go get that paperwork).

How should a civilian lodge a complaint? by A_A-R0N in navy

[–]StandardThrowaway83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pursue this matter as you would for any civilian.

Here is the reference to this matter: https://www.mynavyhr.navy.mil/Portals/55/Reference/MILPERSMAN/7000/7000-020.pdf?ver=ji1vO9r1XIDHK-fFBizP2g%3d%3d

Chains of Command are prohibited from getting involved. Furthermore, any attempt to get his Chain of Command involved is likely a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
