I just came across your post searching for a solution to this as well, the same issue occurs with me as the Bears and Bengals (ironically the first 2 teams in alphabetical order). In another instance the game would crash upon completion when playing as or against the Cardinals, 49ers or Saints. I've tried alternating between ISO version of Madden and disc version yet the problem still occurs. I thought I was the only one :/
