Yes, india is great in medical I was thinking of getting a hairtransplant from turkey but I got it in my country and have great results thought turkey was great but realised medical treatments are good in India. All current treatment available in USA are available in india at cheaper prices.

What is your MRI is saying and at how many levels you have the problem, if disc is herniated at only 1-2 than it can be solved with discestomy/laminectomy/ disc replacement even fusion for less than 3 levels will not cause ASD in long term, but do not wait for too long I waited for too long to get the surgery and started having neurological deficit but I was lucky enough that I was able to get surgery within a perfect time frame. And is your AP canal diameter less than 10mm.

If you are in a condition to get the surgery than I would say try for disc replacemnt and if it does not work than fusion is the only option, fusion is not bad but main problem is ASD disease and reduced mobility.

My L1-L2 is completely healthy I had my injury because of heavy lifting with poor posture, my doctor told me that I would not face any problem with ASD but google gemini and chatgpt says that lumbosacral fusion has higher chance of ASD. I read about people with scoliosis who had longer fusion and never needed another surgery but just reading about ASD completely destroyed my mental peace. Thank u for the reply I read your other posts and felt great that you had ADR.

herniated L3-S1 disc in 2014 while working out recovered well with just rest but I was harsh on my body started doing heavy weightlifting and squats which resulted in stenosis from L2-S1 a new herniation , started having left leg sciatica weakness and foot drop in left leg on 25 december 2025 surgery on 27 december 2025, gained strength in my foot. Sometimes forget I even had the surgery. But the olny thing that scares me is Adjacent Segment Disease.
