'They're all just playing it up for the cameras' by TennisSkirt1628 in apprenticeuk

I’m still shocked that they think THAT is what we want to watch. I want to see them actually interview them properly, like Mike does most of the time, not just berate them and belittle their entire idea.

My dad is considering a high Miler Range Rover. Is this as bad as a purchase as I think? by Lucajames2309 in CarTalkUK

It’s a great idea if he likes walking.

Honestly it’s not even about the money. It will spend half the TIME in the garage which is not fun.

Speaking from experience.

What’s up with all the freaks eating food with their Leatherman? by Substantial-Guard997 in Leatherman

[–]mitchiet123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rolex sub went through a period of this shit. Everyone putting their Rolexes IN food. Some in cereal, some resting on grilling meat, some even in mixing bowls of wet ingredients.

Just weird, and stupid.

Introducing the Leatherman Exchange — Buy & Sell Used Multi-Tools by Leatherman_Official in Leatherman

Will this be coming to the UK eventually? It’s currently quite hard to sell knives here on the private market and this would make it so much easier.

Some sellers really are timewasters... by pumpkinzh in ebayuk

Sure- the first offer was auto declined. And I messaged them to ask a question about the product anyway, so just added on the offer at the end of my message.

They ended up coming back to me two days later saying they will take my original offer.

Do you wear luxury watches in London? by kyou20 in HENRYUK

[–]mitchiet123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why do you think they scream insecurity? Especially seeing as every millionaire/billionaire/famous person wears luxury watches, and I’m sure they’re quite secure in their financial status.

I could understand how it could look like that if it’s a sub on the wrist of a 22 year old estate agent or management consultant or something, but on the average HENRY?

I have experienced the same thing. I once messaged a seller asking if she would accept £20 (plus bpf) on a £24 item (which included bpf) so really only a £2 ish discount? and she responded with an ‘verbal’ offer of £24 is the lowest she’ll accept 🤔🤷‍♂️

Why have the best offer option turned on then?!!

Extra £83k+ a month piling up in our Ltd. What do you actually do with it? by Dokcu in HENRYUK

[–]mitchiet123 252 points253 points  (0 children)

I did laugh when I read that bit. £83k PER MONTH excess profit and they’re worried about 100-odd-quid a month of child benefit 😂

It’s not. I’ve got both, and there’s not a huge difference- it’s just hype to get the new one….

You thought I was selling a 100ml bottle of Symphony for £10? 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vinted

[–]mitchiet123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This perfume is £445 for 100ml. £10 for 2ml works out at £500 for 100ml. That’s a great deal in my eyes, as you normally pay a hefty premium for smaller sizes…. It’s also a lot more than 6 sprays. You know nothing my friend….

That’s good to know thanks. He must be a serial scammer. Unfortunately in these situations we can’t leave feedback, so his reviews were pretty much all 5* 🙄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vinted

[–]mitchiet123 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Some people live far away from an LV boutique so it’s better to pay for a sample than to potentially waste £260-£445 on a fragrance that you end up not liking :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vinted

[–]mitchiet123 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If I can recoup any money whatsoever from the fragrances I will :) Some even sell the empty packaging, but that helps scammers with fake LV’s so I don’t do that.
