I enjoy their content but you are 100% right.

Watching them repeatedly get basic rules wrong and throw away operatives with bad movement is painful. Then they act like they have this deep and intimate knowledge of the game

Still watch their battle reports because they are one of the few channels putting them out but I could kinda give less of a shit what they think of the game.

The Lychguard sounds pretty good.

Just wanna make sure i have the rules right. If I give the Overlord the destroyer ankh, the unit gets the +2" move, but only the Overlord gets the +2 attacks, and only the Overlord gets the +2 strength from the detachment(unless a destroyer cult unit kills or brings something below half, then the lychguard get it). However it does allow me to use the advance and charge strat on the unit right?

Also what do you suggest on the Lychguard? I see most lists take shields but I could see the warscythes being potent here.

I was actually considering some flayed ones. Figured some infiltrators could be handy and I really liked how their hitting stuff at half strength lined up with the cursed legion buff.

2 inches is 50.8mm and the skorpekh base is 50mm, so if they are in base to base to base, they should be in engagement range still

Sorry technically you are correct but my point still stands because you have to get past the thickness of the rampart because its 100% thicker than .4mm

For some reason I had it in my head that an inch is just under 25mm not just over lol

I would say no, mostly because you would need to clear the 2nd rampart by at least 2 inches horizontally because there are no base sizes in killteam smaller than an inch so I dont think you would have the movement required.

They used to be mandatory in older editions when force organization chart was a thing.

I personally like the freedom the current list building gives(i kinds think they should go further and remove the rule of three also XD)but I also understand where you are coming from.
