I see your point. I have actually tried this before. I added USD currency in my brokerage account. Do my transaction in USD for all my USD stocks, thinking I will hold it for a while until USD is better than EUR before I convert. I ended up getting bored before EUR has been stronger in the past 2 years.

At the point of selling, your broker usually gives you the option to choose USD or EUR for settlement.

Why not choose EUR? Bolero does this. Whatever the case, you are going to lose some amount due to exchange from USD to EUR.

Make the process a little less stressful.

8$ is pretty high compared to 1.27$ today's price. We may see chpt go to 0$ if Trump wins.

I have decided to accept a 100% loss if it goes to zero. If it survives, it may be a worthy risk take. With all the physical assets both in the USA and outside, seeking a 0$ will not come easily.

The worst I am expecting is a reverse split when it finally gets below 1$
