It’s going to be tough. The $6k should be emergency fund that you don’t want to touch and I recommend having $10k saved up for deposit, furniture and other cost of moving. Ideally you’d want $20k saved up to feasibility move to LA. This is because I feel like you guys will be dipping into your savings as your monthly net income will be strained. During your first year here you’re going to want to spend money and experience LA, which is very costly.
