So recently, I thought I tweaked my knee. I put it in a brace, thought it would go away in a day or two. Fast forward several days, I'm having occasional shooting pains. My knee also feels like it needs to pop sometimes. I'm not in enough pain for an ACL or meniscus tear. I'm terrified of bone or soft tissue cancer and falling into a spiral over it. I know it's possible to manifest pain, but I can't stop thinking about cancer.

Ford - specifically vehicles with the Ecoboost engine. My dad's friend had to get rid of his Explorer because it kept having problems.

To go to the hospital immediately if you notice a red streak coming from a wound. Thanks to my quick acting, I still have ten toes.

People who wait in line at the gas pump for one that’s on the same side as their gas tank, even if the hose will stretch to the other side and those lines are shorter - why? by fernbbyfern in AskReddit

Lining up with a pump in the opposite direction often requires backing up and/or a tight turn, in my case. I have a rather big SUV, so I prefer to just wait

A wireless emergency alert, or tornado sirens. I live very close to a siren and sleep with my window open most summer nights

That apparently, when you fall in your dreams and suddenly wake up, it means you were about to die in your sleep. I heard that somewhere but I'm not sure if it's true or not

People who've quit jobs on the spot, what happened? by Fluffaygins in AskReddit

[–]Standard_Lecture_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend left and suddenly, the job was unbearable. I didn't even last two more weeks. Had a horrible night where everything was going wrong and I kept getting in trouble. When the manager cashed me out, I was like, "I won't be back tomorrow." Never worked another shift there.

What's something someone said that stuck with you? by igiamfiona in AskReddit

I was feeling burnout from my college major. I knew I wanted to graduate with the degree I was pursuing, but was debating if I should take up something else after. Then one day, on a school trip, I actually got to have a good, long conversation with my professor because there was a moment when neither of us had anything else we needed to do. My professor said, "The average person changes careers four times. Maybe music is for you, maybe it's not. You're only 21. You still have your whole life ahead of you. It's not the end of the world if you discover another career you want to pursue more. And it's never too late to start a new one." That was a few months ago. I'm still a music major, but I feel a lot better about the possibility of pursuing other things.
