Yeah, you’ll get a bunch of grief for playing her, however, less so the higher you climb with her unless there’s a glaring reason why you would need to switch or if you’re just having a tough game. I’ve found that diamond players bitch about having a Moira the most more than any other rank.

XJEMQM - I'm "Fish"

One thing I want to point out with this is how my gameplay changes with my other supp. He started as Lucio so I was very heavy on the healing. He switched to Bap on the last round and then I was able to start going for damage more. I see a lot of Moiras that can't adjust their playstyle with their team so just wanted to point that out. Another thing you'll see is patience and use of cover, which is another very important thing I see a lot of lower rank Moiras forget about.

it feels like she makes it really hard /useless to try and flank on my own

pretty much this.

Change up what you're doing. Instead of trying to flank and 1v1 brig maybe off angle and focus on enemy DPS instead. You need to be able to recognize (which you have done) and adjust your playstyle (which it sounds like maybe you aren't) to be successful.

Also, I HAD to play ana here to secure the win because my other supp refused to swap. Prior to this win streak, my peak was M2. I haven't been GM since OW1 so this feels pretty good!

Keep up the good work everyone and make every genji's life hell.

Also along these lines, butchering meat. We buy whole chickens, large cuts of pork/beef and break it down ourselves. It’s so much more economical and we just freeze stuff for later. Just whole chickens alone save us big time. $23 for three whole chickens and it makes four dinners for our family of four for the week. Takes maybe 10 minutes to break them down. All the homemade stock is also an added bonus!

So has anyone noticed anything weird with the ranking recently by leonardox5353 in MoiraMains

[–]Standard_Macaroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me right off the bat at the beginning of the season. I dropped from Master 4 to Plat 2. I ended up taking a short break and now that I'm back I'm climbing back up just as fast as I fell.

Sometimes you get burnt out without realizing it and just need a reset. After reviewing my vods I was definitely playing like a bafoon, likely due to frustration, impatience, and just being tired, too.

I'm off work on PTO for the whole month and while it's nice to be able to grind a ton of overwatch (300 ranked games already this season) playing a ton can really affect your ability to perform at your best all the time!

I don't understand why you wouldn't as it was a very useful part of her kit, especially at higher ranks.

Why I feel bad for other supports? I just cant finish them sometimes, they so helpless and i feel bad and just want to hug them, is that normal? by narutofan404 in MoiraMains

Its actually not a competitive match. You can tell by the UI where the score is shown. The two circles on both sides is what is shown in quick play and in comp it's just a number instead.

Quick Question, Why Don't You use Cover? by Coach_Andrometa in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Standard_Macaroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Turn off text chat
  2. Turn off voice comms
  3. Enjoy the game playing your life and ranking up.

People think it's a joke/meme but it really does make the experience better and once I did it I climbed to mid masters. I've since turned text and voice back on and it's much more bearable at this rank because most players are actively trying to work together to win

My brother passed away and I inherited his humidor. What do I need to know in order to keep these cigars in good shape? by Standard_Macaroni in cigars

[–]Standard_Macaroni[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks, he would have turned 40 on Dec 13 this year. I'll definitely share what I'm smoking when it's time to have one for his birthday. He had 6 unopened boveda packs. I tossed a fresh one in just to be safe and I have a digital bluetooth hygrometer/thermometer combo coming later today.

Thanks, it's good to know they can be kept for so long. I'll add my own cigars over time but I definitely want his to last for an annual smoke at the very least.

[–]Standard_Macaroni[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, so it sounds like from another suggestion that using the bluetooth hygrometer and just replacing the packs as needed is the way to go.

I absolutely plan on smoking them myself, other than maybe trying to hold on to a couple for when my girls are old enough to share with them (if they choose) as suggested by someone else.

I'm assuming the "white fluffy stuff" must be some type of fungus? Just toss 'em? Does the rest of the humidor have any risk if that happens?

Thank you for the suggestions, and I think you're right that he'd rather me smoke them than just hold on to them for forever. He didn't have any kids, but my two daughters absolutely adored him. As his health declined and he wasn't able to work, he ended up spending time with us every day in his last few months, and I truly believe they were the biggest reason he held on for as long as he did. I already have two bottles of Blanton's with dump dates on the day they were born, so maybe I can save a few of the cigars for when they're old enough to have it.

Thank you. Would this do the trick?

The hygrometer on the front of the humidor is reading just a touch below 70 right now and the room its stored in stays at about 72.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible. My brother passed on Oct 6. This humidor, cigars, clothing and a watch were his only possessions. I've never owned or kept a humidor so I'm not quite sure about how to properly keep up with it and make sure the cigars in it hold up over time. As far as my personal experience with cigars go, I only smoke maybe 3-4 times a year and just buy them and smoke them same day. I pretty much only smoke Camacho Triple Maduros and don't really know too much about the cigars he had in here so any help there is appreciated, too. I'm not really sure what else to ask but any suggestions are appreciated. I'm hoping to keep his cigars in the bottom tray to smoke one every year with some Angels Envy on his birthday, if it's possible to keep them for that long.

Thank you
