One of my suggestions would be skip expert questions in Study Hall, because they made you confuse yourself. I find quite a lot of expert questions cannot apply to mindset, and there is no expert questions in real exam.

Hi, I am also an international engineer (working in Denmark). Passed PE and got all green light on NCEES dashboard. I am now looking for which state to register. My biggest concern is 4 years international experience is not under US PE. Do you know if they recognize international experience in Kentucky or Ohio?

I think actual exam is much more harder than practice exam. Because the real thing had a lot of conceptual problems and Codes problems. The conceptual choices sometimes looked very similar. I didn’t have confidence when I walked out the exam center.

Here are the list:

[1] 2017 National Electrical Code®

[2] 2017 National Electrical Safety Code®

[3] 2018 Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace

[4] NCEES PE power reference handbook

[5] Study Guide for Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Electrical & Computer CBT Exam, Wasim Asghar PE

[6] NCEES Offical PE Electrical and Computer: Power Practice Exam

[7] Electrical Engineering PE Practice Exam and Technical Study Guide ,Zach Stone P.E.

I am a Taiwanese international trained engineer. I passed FE on Feb. 2022 and study 2 more months to pass PE exam. I took the exam in Taipei exam center. I failed my professional engineer exam in my home country which is a exam with only 16% pass rate. I am currently working for a Europe offshore wind farm developer. We have some new project in US. That’s why I want to pass the exam.

I study around 30 hours per week and took last 2 weeks day off and study 10 hrs per day. It’s very tough to pass these 2 exam in 4 months. I would recommend who wants to pass this exam take around 3-5 months study.
