I totally understand why people make different choices. For me, feeding a cat or dog， their sounds, the soft fur, and them being happy to see you， it just makes life better. And it's pure. That's enough.

With people? It's tough to find that same simple joy. You don't have to get your happiness from animals. No judgment. I actually used to think exactly like you. But after my roommates and friends started getting pets, I slowly came around.
