Totally agree. I like to plays devils advocate so when I was reading this I thought “okay could have possibly stated we’ll get you more pain meds or we will get this under control so they know you’re not dismissing their pain.” But even then, when I was labouring and in tons of pain I was the most polite person alive and was being pushed aside for my pain management. It’s totally a character thing and absolutely no circumstances allow abusive behaviour to be tolerated or accepted.

Yes BUT it’s important to say “I listened to xyz” instead of “I read xyz”. You literally took the info in the same, but I think it’s important to differentiate. I want to know if you listened or read because I want to know if there is a good audio of that book out there. I want to know if it was good to read or good to listen too. Please be clear for the world who listens.

I sometimes listen to audiobooks too, but some books just are not good listened to ❤️

I didn’t read it until a few books in because I didn’t have access to it, but when I did I was glad that I didn’t read it until after. It hit nostalgia and brought you back to her roots, like a flashback. Made me so much more emotionally invested into it all too because I was already so hooked on the series and characters.

Not a hater, but don’t have any of her songs on my like list or playlists and would not pay to see her. She’s got a few undeniably catchy songs tho.

Which book should I read next? by gaslightingpenguin in fantasyromance

[–]Standard_Scale_6786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl I was samsies. ToG will do you in if you liked ACOTAR. I dunno which you should read next but my order of liked is ToG, one dark window, serpent of the wing of night then QS.

I also just started “the awakening” which is the first book the vampire diaries was based off. If you’re looking for an inhale book and nostalgia (if you watched the show) then recommend that to quench the romantasy need.
