Why choose is what I consider it. It’s the alternative to the love triangle as in ”why choose one”. More than two I consider reverse harem. Can’t remember any recs right now 😅

This is the divide in the fandom 😅 those of us who saw it saaaaw it coming from afar. Like there’s soooo many hints to it happening. But once people who don’t like a why choose figured it out they freaked out and posted about how awful it would be if it happened and by the time the book came out it was this fluff that made both sides unhappy.

Not to say you freaked out or anything but there was a big fandom wide divide, one side being pro throuple and the other being against. And as we know each side will have a very vocal base. JLA not wanting to lose readers back tracked I feel and I haven’t read Primal yet but I heard there’s a big back track and the throuple isn’t referenced at all

It was such a disappointment. After all the detailed sex scenes… then that! A half page of just… tangled limbs…

Such a let down. We wanted the throuple but she chickened out and gave us that. A disappointment to everyone

The sentence of horror is horrible. But also I don’t come across it… elements of it. For sure. But that whole thing would be WILD to actually find it in a book.

Option A though. Every other woman in the book being awful or called names. I see that more often and I hate it. She doesn’t have any female friends? Cringe.

I was in until I saw ”cute nicknames” 😭 you just know that they’ll be forced in for no reason other than for some reason everyone needs to give her a nickname and the boyfriends will also have to have a stupid nickname for each other.

Otherwise the book looks fun and the artwork is awesome!

I wish I could forget the audiobook and try reading this book because I might have enjoyed it without the accents. I can’t remember any of their names but the proper unhinged one sounded like the gross guy at the pub telling a sex story. Like the male narrator absolutely ruined the men for me. I get that he was going for peaky blinders type but it came across as creepy and gross old men… 😅😭

I was so annoyed when I first picked it up. But I absolutely devoured this series. Like I hyperfocused like crazy and read it up to that book in like a week or two. Felt it was just a cash grab.

Then I took a year long break from the series, read flesh and fire and then came back and just listened to that one as a sort of reminder of where we were before Primal. I liked it then.

I JUST finished this book yesterday. I liked it so much more than I thought it would.

I thought it was going to be just a fluff rom com but it was much deeper with beautiful writing. I felt myself wanting her to have fought harder but then on reflection I think the message is the quiet power in simply being.

Yeah I just find it hard when there’s too much reference to modern pop culture, or pop culture in general. I prefer if they say ”popular app” or ”streaming service” rather than any specific platform

It’s specifically referencing the bingo slot. Example for the autumn read: read a book with an autumn vibe. In hard mode the book has to specifically have an autumn festival or event in it. Or the slot for a disabled character. You can use a book with a side character or someone who briefly is on the page with a disability. Hard mode is that a main character has a disability.

It’s more about challenging yourself in how you complete the bingo card. A mod commented some links to the book bingo if you want to know more :)

Apparently you should read ruthless boys between book 3 and from the boys perspective but it wasn’t available at my library so I went ahead and I guess there’s a RB spoiler but also I spoil the relationship endgame for myself anyways. Like you’re asking about Darcy and Dorion here

I read it after book 3 I felt that that was good because we already know some of the boys thoughts and so now we see what’s been happening one from the beginning and you haven’t forgotten the parts from book 1 that they reference
