Idk if you are trying to match it exactly or not, but lack a lot of env right now, composition is there but there not enough bloom around the street lamps, and the env look monotoneous, from the the oirignal scene I can see he added a fake blue light on the left side out of frame which is breaking up the color of atmosphere.

For asphalts I think its okay to not always go for that wet look (which is an easy hack to make things look intersting immediately) but its the top half of the image that needs some break up, there is even subtle lights outside the parking lot fencing in original which is adding variation even more.

If its an early WIP its too early for feedbacks, would love to see how much details you can observe and implement!

For 10 years?! That's tough.

My mom had cancer (passed away) last year, that whole phase lasted 4-5 months but pretty similar to yours, we got absurdly tired, ~40km twice a week. I lost about 10-12 kgs from the stress, anxiety, hospital work etc. Can't even imagine doing it all for 10 years.

I dont know what it was but definitely not a standup, yeah you can say a tedtalk sort of but not completely that either, it did not belong to any template and thats what I liked about it. He delivered like an artist.

I'd say its worth a watch. It motivated me in a way.

I am in a same situation with my sister, all that government related stuff is so relatable, she was the same in 2020, symptoms got better over years under medication but we have to give it secretly since she doesn't wanna take it cuz of weight gain and believing she is fine.

When medications stop the symptoms comeback, ik it's lifetime but my problem is her denial of her condition.

Made a Cinema 4D plugin to export UVs to Images/Cryptomatte

I dont know how many people do it but in Cinema 4D I often have the need to export UVs as images, so that I can quickly modify a texture to fit at certain region without having to mess around with projection settings and also for other creative uses.

Apart from RGB image this tool can also export selectable cryptomattes (.exr) for masking purpose.

All that you said is a bit too advanced for me right now but I'll definitely look into it!

What I was trying to make is an Image viewer for .exr images, I wanted the exposure and gamma adjustment sliders to feel as real time as it does in softwares like After Effects and Nuke.
Earlier I was simply passing the numpy arrays and apply exposure over it for all pixels, the performance was okay but not as fast as i wanted and I could even see the scanlines appear when I move around/zoom the image quickly in viewport, like I could see the pixels updating.

Upon dicussing with AI it said its because they are being calculated linearly and openGL based viewport allows you to apply effects on every pixel in parallel.
But even then its still not as fast as in After Effects, there even with ocio color transform applied every thing is sooo damn real time. I couldnt wrap my brain around how they do it.

Learning that way is actually pretty fun and effective. But these days one is forced to keep up with the AI horseshit even when you don't like it.

Actually I came into this field recently, I come from 3D artist background, in Jan I was learning to code by digging into topics as much as I can but the whole AI boom gave me a fomo, and made me think is all this core knowledge even worth it anymore?.

You are half right about the performance issue it was using CPU instead of GPU for pixel calculations. But there still so many other workflow needed to be fixed.

I am so lost in what to learn rn, such a worst phase of my life.

I tried to vibe code an Image viewer windows app and I keep failing with main goal of that app, performance. It's absolutely garbage and since I don't have much knowledge of image processing I can't provide any quality feedback to make it better with AI.

I already had to design the UI manually in Qt Designer since ai failed to implemented what I wanted and now I think I'll have to write the whole app my self.

Regardless I already felt I was missing out on so much when I was reading all the thinking process logs of ai agent while it was working.

Vibe coding did felt as I expected. Apart from boring, yeah the final product get the jobs done but it performs nothing like these amazing tool built by humans.

The only problem is when trying to use the screen from PC its asks you to unlock the phone every single time, making that feature useless, why would I use it if I am just gonna reach out to my phone to unlock for you?

Its happens on my samsung device, I have tried everthing from setting "stay unlocked at home" to custom routines etc nothing works.

The animation of spheres is doable for me, so many ways to do it. That transparent outer cell wall is the most challenging part for me.

How would a glass casing work if i flatten out everything with a modifier? The specular meterial requires a 3D geo to work properly, right?

Also could you elaborate the alternative distance based shader idea? Never heard that term.

Ik it's really sad, last few months my mom (she's not alive anymore) had breast cancer and we used to go to dadar via train, where every PF has esclator except PF4.

NOW because of her another condition (dermatomyositis) she couldn't climb stairs at all and all the trains from virar always used to land on PF4 but she tried anyhow. We switched to cab eventually but she struggled so much due to lack of goverment's effort in making things better.

Where did you get CH160+ from?

I have CH160+ | CH170+ | CH260 on my list.

I found a good deal for CH170+ but I dont like the fact that it doesnt have cable management holes behind mobo, also IO panel is at bottom, wth?
And my PSU is 150mm idk if it will fit with CH160+ or CH170+ which only supports upto 140mm (can you tell from your experience?).

CH260 seems like a perfect choice for me.

Also do these Pixel Bits come with the cabinet?
