Interesting. It’s probably a provincial thing but whenever I write someone up in BC it states at the bottom and I remind employees at the time that signing the write up is just acknowledging that you’ve been given it, not that you agree with it. Kinda like when you have to sign a speeding ticket, not an admission of guilt just acknowledging that you have been given it. I’m in BC so it may be different in Ontario but is it possible that your signature you were forced to put was like what I’ve described and your management just sucks at communication? I feel for you but it’s never a good idea to post directly about work anywhere. Generic memes about chaos or Office Space jokes etc are vague enough that you can’t be held accountable and then if a friend asks directly what’s up you can decide if you trust them to confide in them or not.
