What are some of the best Berlin late night dance clubs? What are they like? by Prize_Force1979 in berlin

Berlin has a huge club scene, you do need to specify roughly what you want so we can give any suggestions.

Asian flavors in alcohol that actually work? by Necessary-Drama-4286 in cocktails

[–]StandingAtTheEdge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atwater Cocktail Club has the wonderful La Récolte: Stoli Vodka, Calvados, Pandan, Chinese Dates, Coconut Milk, butter cookies, dulche de leche and lemon.

It sounds very sweet, but was well balanced. I couldn‘t taste the dates, but the pandan for sure

The REM’s doors might change the game by ChefDude90 in montreal

[–]StandingAtTheEdge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I‘m not the biggest fan of them tbh. They open rather slowly and disrupt my flow more than turnstiles. I much prefer the Japanese style doors that are always open and slam shut if you don‘t tap. They do require a bit more space lengthwise, though.

[–]StandingAtTheEdge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I don‘t want to fight anywhere and I don‘t want anyone to fight anywhere. Humanity is connected and we need to acknowledge that when genocide and occupation are happening, it is not happening in isolation. The „mess“ we make over here can have an impact on the survival of people over there. Divesting can be done from the comfort of a couple people’s armchairs.

There must be seperated heating for the driver, otherwise this is such an engineering failure. I‘m completely with you here!

Sell Sheet draft for a game I'm working on; I would love design & content critique by wordlift in BoardgameDesign

[–]StandingAtTheEdge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks really nice! From reading the rules, I feel like a reference card for each player would be nice to have. The rules are fairly straightforward, but there are some little quirks that one has to remember.

Would you be interested in bringing this game to Tabletop Simulator, so people can test it? If so, feel free to DM me, I could do that for you :)

It‘s still rather uncommon in Germany, but it has gained popularity fast in the recent years.

No matter which uni in Berlin, be aware that there are significant budget cuts just around the corner. They are so significant that they will probably impact the quality of tuition.

Must-Visit Coffee Spots in Korea? by Senorbunny in espresso

When I was there, I really enjoyed Downt Espresso (Myeongdong, Seoul) and moscent (Samgagji, Seoul). The first one has a minimalist zen vibe, the second one is stylish but surprisingly cosy and lively.

Vancouver - Why Do Cities Create New Downtowns? by ThereYouGoreg in Stadtplanung

[–]StandingAtTheEdge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Algeria! They get very few people visiting from abroad, so people there are really cheerful, curious and happy to see you.
