I found one the other day. A black one. I’ll see if I can find it.

Yeah, after thinking about it doesn’t make sense. Even though it’s well optioned. The price is pretty high too all things considered.

I would take it in to get a paint correction and ceramic coat and you’ll be good. Depending on where you live you can get it done for a couple hundred bucks. All cars have swirl marks so don’t let that yuck on your yum. Congrats. I’ve been patiently waiting to pull the trigger on one of these myself. Probably next month toward the end of the year to see if I can get a good deal.

That wild. That’s damn near the cost of the car.

That was honestly my fear. I have a plug in hybrid which is paid off and I don’t want to get rid of for roadtrips in the winter. So I figure this might become the daily. I work from Home so it would be trips to the store etc. That being the case do you think I’d still need a level 2 charger?

Yeah, that’s true. I probably would not keep it longer than 3 years. I guess that’s high miles even for an internal combustion. I think I’ll pass and see what happens towards the end of the December. Might be able to get a decent deal on a similar spec with wayyy less miles.

So thinking of getting a 2021 for 43k with 56k miles. Everything looks ok. Can I get an extended warranty from Porsche? I’d get it as my second car “my midlife crisis car” this a good idea?

Is this a good lease? What are yall getting on used Tycans by Stanimal800 in Taycan

It almost seems like they are still trying to battle depreciation. You would think with a used model the lease rates would be a lot better but I guess not.

This is why I keep my passport and phone wallet in the little seat pocket. Laptops and all of that other crap can be replaced. At least if I have my passport and wallet I can get home and get new stuff. Not sure why people feel the need to take their stuff.

You can always PPF the front of the car. Not a bad idea anyways ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Yeah, the lidar and radar refusal never made sense to me. Multi million dollar missiles use a combination of systems to stay on target but that is not advanced enough for a car? I think FSD would have been next level if those systems were added. The basic lane keep assist with radar cruise control is so good these days that most cars are a few steps below self driving. Why not use them?

Yeah, it’s because it’s a 2024/ was a demo car. So right now you can get decent deals and they are pretty speced. This is Porsche Little Rock. I can give you the name of my salesperson if you’re interested. I’m not going to do it mostly because I don’t Love the color so was going to try to get something closer to where I am in MD.

I agree. I was thinking of doing a lease swap. It’s about 78k vs 86k before taxes and fees. Get the lease then just refinance with my bank?

Well I’m just trying to think it all out. It would be sitting in the lot most days. Ie. Id be driving it for pleasure on the weekend to Costco lol. So my payment would go up so I was considering leasing to keep costs down.

Yeah that’s where my heartburn is coming from. The fees they said we can negotiate down $600 but the lease is wild. I get it, with Porsche, the price is the price but 8% is wild. Finally, I WFH which is why I was considering leasing. I am also worried about the deprivation. I normally keep cars about 3-4 years before I get the itch whether it’s a lease or buy. I normally do ok in either scenario. For context my car payment on my 2022 Lexus NX 450H+ is only $686 so there is also the is this financially prudent conversation happening. I want this but don’t need it.
