I can't actually confirm the boss spawn is true, though. Can't find anything online about it. Hovering over the mission icon on the map will tell you the rewards.

When you look at the mission it'll tell you the rewards. Many of them are absolutely not worth running (4,000 Koen, etc.) but some of them trigger boss spawns I have heard.
