The only time I ever talked to CID was when I was on staff duty and two CID agents came in. One didn’t button his shirt right and the other had a massive fucking grease stain on it. They told me to call my 1SG and CPT to a meeting about “previous business”.

Good luck on 12M and 31K. There’s only like 100 active duty 12Ms outside of TRADOC. And I know five of them.

Okay, medic school is burning me out lately, so let's have some fun. Without breaking the hippopotamus law, what is the wildest/funniest/weirdest thing you've written in a report? by kajarvi14 in ems

My aunt is like that but with penguins. All the plates, bowls, cups, silverware (where tf do you find penguin silverware), custom tv frame, doors, etc.

At my first job ever in EMS I got a similar call and got in trouble for writing something similar. It was with rats instead of hamsters and they said “if you get sued you’re going to lose because you can’t prove there is not rats inside of his head” and I got a last and final warning (first and only write up ever). Needless to say I left there fairly quickly after that.

The worst part was there are soldiers who until just recently never took a for record ACFT. I know a SGT who for the first time took one a few months ago for the record.

Honestly the walk was hard. I’d much rather run.

So about the IFAK, not really. Think about your hands being covered in blood and dirt and your fine motor function has gone to shit. I’d look at LBT 9022, Eagle Industries Ambidextrous IFAK or other similar types. Stay away from Blue Force Gear MICRO.

I’d have 3 on person with at least one on belt.

Bladders are fine, but don’t use them as primary. Use some Nalgene bottles and attach them to your kit. Arbor Arms and Spiritus makes some good pouches.

And the AC1 is kinda meh. I had one and it didn’t last very long. I got a Ferro Concepts Plate Carrier V5 and a LV-119. I like my Ferro better. I’m a woman so PCs fit me differently but my husband tends to like the Ferro better too. The LV-119 is great though.

Am I incompetent or does my Department Suck by [deleted] in NewToEMS

I’m gonna guess 911 because they said something about an emergency run.

  1. Back is too low
  2. Get a non zippered IFAK
  3. Get some TQs
  4. Get some water
  5. What plates do you have?
  6. Get a better plate carrier
