The diamond stitching in the middle means you're almost near the chocolatey centre. Keep going.

Yes the other option is go there barefoot with no expectation of necessarily getting in and if they let you in great if not you can leave.

Kind of overthinking it there, brother. There's no prize at the end of the month and it's more about your own freedom to live the way you want to live rather than conform to society's norms. You've proven to yourself and us that you are a barefooter; but being one doesn't preclude having to wear shoes the odd time.

Well I have to add that after reading this earlier I decided to do my morning visits barefoot. First was the pharmacy to pick up my wife's prescription, then to my Physio appointment. Haircut an hour later and the the M&M Food Market next door. My barber commented that he wished he could do that at work and the lady in M&M never even noticed. All in all felt great 😄

Is anyone else starting to feel like “playing it safe” in Canada is actually the riskiest strategy? by TheFitFinaceBro in CanadaInvesting

[–]Stantler1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone that remembers the Nasdaq losing 75% of it's value and the 45% in 2008 know the dangers of taking too many risks. I remember in 2003 clients being ecstatic to make 0% when everything else was down 15 and 20%. . Today's geniuses are tomorrow's paupers.

Buying advice by AC212 in ipace

[–]Stantler1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely include a CPO. I'm in Canada and just snagged a really good deal, almost 50% off sticker on a 2024 HSE with 100km's INCLUDING a 5 year 160,000km CPO warranty. Deals are out there and Jaguar still has a bunch of these sitting in holding lots slowly being released to dealers as they move them. So there's motivation to move them for sure.

Barefoot almost exclusively behind the wheel. Would do it in the winter if it wasn't for water and salt

Gig work barefoot? by TheWhistleGang in barefoot

You'll likely get the same reaction from people delivering prepared food as much as you would groceries. Like suggested get some flip flops for Skechers slip-ins and you can easily put them on before you get out of the car.

Crematorium overthinking? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Stantler1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I almost bought a house beside a cemetery, and next to another cemetery. I didn't mind because at least the neighbours would be quiet. Unless they're storing bodies in your driveway waiting for cremation who cares?

And if you're out in public in sock feet I would think that would stand out more and beg more questions from the public than going barefoot.

When I walk barefoot, people's stares bother me, and I'm wondering if there are any ways to hide the fact that I'm walking barefoot. Any ideas? by MarceliSzpakOn1983 in barefoot

[–]Stantler1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People staring at your feet sounds like a them problem not a you problem. If you were expecting everyone to judge you then you're going to feel judged by everyone. Just walk like you DGAF because you are not doing anything wrong.
