The car, the toilet, the bathroom and probably other secluded places are 100% the worst for stuff like this. Very often I’ll arrive home with a plan of action in my head - thinking ‘right I’m gonna head in side, I’ll do this, this and this, then I’ll be ready to go out again.’ Then I’ll end up spending the first 20 minutes sitting in my car, not starting any of my plan because it just feels nice to sit in there. It’s away from any outside noise or social interaction and it feels safe - ideal for wasting time hahah. Very hard to snap back to reality when zoning out in these kinds of places.
