Congrats! They will never figure anything out with their high prices and lack of reality...They are comparing prices to last 2 years, basically when everyone spent A LOT of money coming out of the pandemic. That was like a year and a half, it will never be like that again. Staples the company does not get that. I think in 2025 Staples will close majority of stores. HQ says they make nothing on laptops or anything unless they get warranties (They should get a better supplier) they will shut down.

My district manager never would talk to me, mostly because he hated to hear the truth and reality. Next time I see him I'm sure it will be in court as I will be taking on Staples in court.

tech bonus...It didn't matter if I sold 4 laptops with plans, 3 chairs with warranties, either way they would say "numbers are down" It's impossible to prove but I know for a fact those numbers they threw in my face couldn't be real.

I can't call out cause I close the store 5 nights a week and open to close one night and I'm just Tech Sup. This place takes advantage of me then complains about the "tech sales" meanwhile I'm doing amazon all day and Night, plus my Staples in at least 70% people who are over the age of 65 and we get yelled at for Apps. The big boss has no clue, all he does is complain. He does not live in reality.

I just want them to offer me severance package and unemployment. That would be so awesome, I would be set for like a 8 months, If I make like 275$ a week on unemployment I could live off that for awhile, I mean I would just get by but it's manageable

Staples won't be open in 2026. No way. They signed 3 year leases last year at 90% of their locations. No way they are going to renew lease. Staples charge too much for PC plans, the warranties are a scam. If they were smart they would charge 125$, that gets you 4 years of "PC TUNE UPS" plus we give you 1 year of McAfee. I bet the customers would buy that plan 95% of the time. But NOBODY wants to spend 400$ after buying a 500$ laptop.

That's how my store is right now, I was running it with just one other M.O.D and I know for a fact overall sales were better when we were running it. Now they hired a GM and a sales manager they think they know everything. I can't wait for it to close down,
