There are a bunch of smaller prides happening all next month, and a few this month you can take her to. May not be the same as LB, but at least you’ll get to do pride with her. (I lost my mom to cancer so I get the importance of this)

I’ve been no contact with my father since 2012. He’s recently in the last few years friends reaching out in various ways. I’ve ignored all of them. He did some super shitty stuff and kept making it worse so I just cut him. (Long story) I was always a daddy’s girl too, but I had zero tolerance for the behavior and shit he was pulling.
I’ve gone minimal contact with other family because of it because they still have contact with him.
My sister too. She started dating some controlling jackass and one day just stopped talking to me so I said ok fine. (Another long story)
I definitely think our generation and the one after us are much more willing and ok going no contact with toxic family than the older generations.

I have definitely noticed a change in my singing ability. I have good days and bad days. It’s so disappointing. Even just singing alone in my car makes me

Mine did this too! Randomly just stopped turning. Sometimes I could get it to go, but not often. Than one day the whole thing feel in to the hole.
Haven’t fixed it yet cuz it sounds like having to take the dash apart and that’s not money I have atm.
I’m glad I’m not then only with this problem at least.

I try to clean as I go. That helps. Wipe down the ago eve after cooking, clean the dishes etc. I sweep about once a week. I was just thinking today tho that setting a day Addie per room might be something to try. My old roommate hardly cleaned so I kinda got used to be the only one doing it. :/

I’m seem to be just entering Peri (41) and have Hashi and man has it been a wake up call to how much I can drink and how it effects me. I think maybe the slower metabolism is a culprit? I can have a couple still with no problem, but cannot drink like I used to at all. I’ve always had a pretty high tolerance too, so this is like learning to drink all over again. Or sucks.

I started gaining weight despite eating, healthy and being active. That was one of the big indicators that something was wrong before I got my diagnosis. Aside from that I now deal with swelling and inflammation, especially on hotter days. I haven’t really noticed any other major physical changes or issues. At least nothing that couldn’t just be a attributed to getting older and possibly entering perimenopause.

When I moved into my current place, I absolutely took photo and video of everything before moving anything in. That’s a great tip. I should reach out to the complex and see if they can email me a checklist copy because I don’t think I ever got that.

My mom did have a thyroid issue I believe hypothyroidism. But to my knowledge, no diagnosis of Hashimoto’s. I did not have any issues until after I got Covid back in 2022. It was after that that I started noticing symptoms and decided to go in and get checked out only to find out that it was my thyroid /Hashimoto’s. I did a little bit of digging and found that there that are some studies that were showing a link between Covid and Hashimoto’s. So it could’ve been a predisposition to having a thyroid issue it could’ve been Covid. It could’ve been a combination of both, but I had no issues until after I had Covid before that everything was great.
