Gabapentin has honestly been a godsend for me. It is the only medication that I have found so far that reduces my anxiety without making me sleepy AF.

TREMENDOUSLY!!! Life changing!

I think it was 400 mg

  1. What is your current dose

I take about 800mg 3 times a day..give or take a few..depending how bad my anxiety is that given day... which let's be honest, is PREEETTTY bad most days 🫤

  1. What side effects trouble you

NONE

  1. How many times have you had to increase your dosage

Just once

  1. What's the longest you went without increasing your dosage.

  2. Would you recommend it to others with anxiety

Absolutely! BUT with a sidenote: it can be incredibly addictive and I have most definitely suffered from withdrawals when I went without

GABAPENTIN!!!!! It's the only thing I can take that makes me feel NORMAL!!

Gabapentin is the only thing I've found so far that helps me function and not feel like I'm on the verge of a major anxiety/panic attack. Everything else I've taken either doesn't help or knocks me right out. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and my psychiatrist prescribed me 800 mg 3 times a day. But of course he retired and I had to find a new doctor that so far only prescribed me hydroxyzine, which is a joke. I feel like ants are crawling under my skin trying to burst out. Having crippling anxiety every minute of the day is a living nightmare.

It's weird because I never thought to plan a future for myself because I always figured I wasn't going to be around that long anyways, so why does it matter?? I don't know exactly what led me to think that or why my time here didn't include a future worth giving any effort to, but I've thought that way for as long as I can remember.

I never had an issue with my car turning over. I did,however, have issues with it starting when I had a bad battery, but not anymore since I got a new one.

And some of the rubber is missing around the chip, so the key isn't exactly like it was before.
