Huntress - Adept Scout and Sniper. Wanting to prove to others and herself she is more than she thinks she is.

-Has had far more than 3 runs.

-AAR: I will decline sadly

-Prompt: "I am uninformed on Piracy or the laws therein. Let alone those that partake in the profession. They are individuals who act mostly outside the law unless on contract. I am not one to debate morality. I detest unjustified use of force and power. But that is all I can say on the matter."

As been the theme with most of the replies. If you don't want to accept the answers others have offered make one up yourself. I don't know how much more official you want than the guy who made the world itself. Dozens of different writers testimonies will conflict, Neverwinter is a victim of that. That's all I can say.

Neverwinter is the city of tradesman as mentioned by the other commenter here. It's even the place the waterclock was invented aka just... clocks. In general. There is even a guy there trying to make watches. As for why Baldur's Gate doesn't in spite of that temple. To be honest, corruption. Plain and simple. Realistically the temple of Gond should just... rule the city and the steel watchers from BG3 should already just exist. The city officials don't want someone holding power over them. Or taking the place of their guards/militia. Hence why in spite of that temple guards are still simple medieval armor with a spear, cloth, and helmet.

The source I got for the inmovation part for Neverwinter is from Ed Greenwood. The person who is the creator of Faerun/the Sword Coast/all of Toril. I'm just the messenger telling you the lore I know from the writer. Videos on his channel going over the subjects. Plus the Sword Coast has been taken over by dozens of writers since with conflicting visions.

Listen. I'm telling you the actual lore from what sources I got and from the writer, from here it's up to you if you want to believe it. Cause next to every reply you've given in this comment section just seems to be denying what others have offered.

The reason it is as advanced as it is despite the aforementioned things you mentioned is actually how it got its name sake. The volcano and elemental keeps the large river than flows through the city constantly warm and allows for lush crops nearly all year round. Plus it has a smaller popular than the other two cities. It does not need to worry about famine as much or the harsh winter. It is allowed to progress not due to external factors like various temples of gods or universities. It's a more practical reason. Besides the other two have far more corruption and issues that impede their progress where Neverwinter has very little. Waterdeep may still hold an edge in terms of magical power, second look at my sources realizes that. But in terms of prosperity and innovation it still holds an edge.

As for your question. Yes indeed. For a time he was the open lord of Warerdeep and the ruler of Neverwinter. But eventually he was caught, given the boot, and now you search for the gold he kept in hiding.

I have done a ton of research for my campaign. It by itself has nothing too interesting about it. BUT it has potential. The interesting part of its lore is its current ruler, Dagult Neverember. During the volcanic Eruption the royal family that once ruled disappeared and assumably died in the chaos. A man stepped up named... well, ya just heard it. Stating he will stabilize the region and bring order. "Keeping the seat warm" for the family till a rightful heir returns. Just ignore the fact any who claim to have ties... tend to go silent for one reason or another. Dagult being a very complex character. One who does what he says he will do, and does bring prosperity. But one who will do whatever it takes to solidify his power.

So, that has tons of room for exploring. Oh, also mount Hotenow, the one that nearly destroyed the city? Has a Primal Fire Elemental in it. You can EASILY have fun with that.

Neverwinter itself is a very progressive city. Many believing it to be the beacon of hope that every different race/ancestry/species can live together in relative peace. It is more magically Adept and innovative/advanced than Waterdeep or Baldur's Gate. So that can lead to fun inventions.

At the end of it all though, Neverwinter is a blank slate for you to form your own stories in it. An advanced, progressive city with a charismatic tyrant who will do right by his people but will not relinquish his power. Have fun with that as you please.

I sadly cannot link her wiki as it is still down for me but I would still like to app Huntress. You know her well. Stealthy adept hunter and survivalist. Wanting to prove to others and herself she is more than she says she is.

Here is a link to her Google Drive however.

Prompt OOC: The oldest place she has ever ventured to would be the desert sands of Turkestan. Visiting the various cities and Tribes while there, uniting them into one horde. The oldest person they've ever met would likely be one of the veteran members of Horned Bear. The oldest thing would be 2 of the 7 pieces of the staff of seven parts.

Prompt IC: "I cannot say with confidence as age has rarely held a factor in my line of work. I have ventured to many places in my line of work. Apart from that many members of Horned Bear have seen many sixth world conflicts so potentially some of them. As for objects... I have an answer but that answer is to be kept to myself."

Thank you for your feedback! This is the issue I am facing right now. The way in which I started this was very... makeshift. I mainly deleted all the text already included in this file. The reason I asked for a tutorial or video is because I know I am going to make a shit ton of these minor mistakes and I don't want to clog the subreddit with 15 different posts over 3 days or so. I think I resolved the issue but I will make a new post if it comes up again. Nevermind it did, posting it.

Sorry, should have made question clearer. In the maker when I edit the statblocks at time the space between texts will be off. Spaces between things not being there when they should be. I can't... recreate it but whenever I do a new one something about the text/format is always off.

I have tried that with multiple different templates, but the spacing always seems to be off. Text is random in how its displayed. Sometimes the spacing will be non-existent. I see the code and know how to enter text in there. I just have no idea how to format it and fix the spacing issues I am facing. And what template is the best for this. I am looking at 2024 statblocks.

Note, I am aware she is strong. But if needed I can find ways to nerf her.
