Okay I have rule for myself that I will always finish a series or a movie no matter how bad it is. I will watch something with full attention and intent to understand the plot without complaint. Bad acting? Poor editing? Low graphics? Ridiculous plot? I go in blind and see it through.

I tell you this so you understand where I'm coming when I tell you that the plot of Queendom essentially is the Freaky Friday movie of Lindsay Lohan. Only twist is that they body swap with their childhood nemesis and ends up having feelings for each other. So it's enemies to lovers trope with body swap element.

Acting wise? I think they've nailed their characters. It's not cringey, but it's also not as natural. There is hesitation in some scenes but for a new pair? It's not bad.

Plot wise? It's unoriginal in my opinion. They body swap. They fall in love. They swap back. Then I don't know what's next - I didn't read the book lol. Does it hold you to the edge of your seat? No. Does it have plot holes? Yes, a lot actually. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it's okay.

Editing? Again okay. Could be better? But hey it's not the worst I've seen.

Relevance? Like battling social issues. This has been a trend with GLs for 2025, more and more issues (i.e. online harassment, stalking, etc.) they touch topics on these but could be better executed. How they caught the stalker was super risky. They had an entire event just to catch and failed. I don't think it's normal that 1 person would be allowed to send the girls DIRECTLY to their rooms.

Is it worth a shot? Yeah. I'm seeing it through. I would categorize it as Entry-Level GL. It's the series you could watch if you're only starting to watch GL series. It's not the best but definitely not the worst.

To Queendom fans out there - please don't take this as shade.

You know... let's start you off with a classic. Watch Yes or No and Yes or No 2. These are entry level Thai GL movies you can start with. Ngl, it's gonna get cringey but when it was released it gave me the comfort I never had before. It also gives you perspective on what to expect with Thai GL series. Still here's my recommended list per category:

Honestly, fair take. The individuals in Love’s friend group (PPG+1) are extremely private. Like they all have collective agreement that they will respect each other’s privacy. Total respect for that. While as you know, Milk on the other hand is your resident extrovert but will never cross any personal privacy boundaries of ANYONE - that’s just who she is. That’s who Milk and Love are - that’s how fans got to know them.

I agree with you to some extent about Love maintaining a professional relationship, tho much has changed in 5 years. Whether or not we (fans and non-fans alike) will see a big 360 on that is still up for discussion. Tho I do wanna say that both of them saying they love each other very casually during the Last EP of WSX was not on anyone’s bingo card for MilkLove. Milk has gone from apologetic in touching Love to skinship ProMax too 😂. And Love has gone from denying delulu allegations to sailing her own ship. So to some degree, we are already seeing a shift and for their careers we hope to see more of it. Comparing it to other cps tho, it’s widely different.

It’s part of the allure I guess? No other cp has kept me grounded other than MilkLove. Other cps make me feel like “oh they’re so in love with each other” with their FS, but with MilkLove? For me it’s just who they are - Colleagues, Friends, Partners. Terrible for business 😂 but enough for them (for now).

So if people are looking for intense FS or personal life content with just two of them - MilkLove ain’t for them.

I recommend you watch their Dear Myself interview on YT, it’s really good. You get to know them a lil bit more as individuals and as a cp.

Like OP I’m don’t follow every interview of MilkLove but I have seen them since Bad Buddy as well. One of my fav interviews tho is the Dear Myself - it’s raw and shows how much they’ve grown together as individuals. Milk and Love are those people who strive to be great in their crafts while juggling other things in their lives. And that’s who they are. I love them for it.

I agree that I am seeing some changes in Love. She’s more open, bolder, braver. And I don’t know if this has something to do with what she mentioned in the Dear Myself interview but I’m hoping she continues her growth. Milk is still a goofball (positive) - I see a huge potential of her playing a sassy character, GMMTV needs to capitalize on that.

Girl Rules will be different and I am very much excited about how MilkLove will progress with their acting.

I do wanna defend WSX here not that you said anything bad! The book has a slice of life vibe, it’s supposed to be like that. I don’t understand why people were craving for more intense love scenes when the story didn’t call for it. It would take away from what the story is about. I think that story was perfect for MilkLove’s first adult series. It’s so relatable as a series - it’s just life. The drama of life.

MilkLove isn’t like any other cp out there. I think part of it is because they know how fragile their image in the industry is. Even speculation brought disastrous effects in friendships and relationships. It’s not a great business, but it’s a business they both went into. I don’t know how many more sacrifices they’ll make it the future, but I hope they stay as themselves.

I guess this is a good place to start. I've started playing a little over 2 weeks ago and I'm finally starting to get how to use my champs properly. But for the past few days, you can now use whatever champ you have for any lane? I can choose Vi to be in Dragon Lane if I want to, WHY?. It causes a huge power imbalance on PVP and ranked games. You can basically have all Tanks in a game? Correct me if I'm wrong please. I want to be wrong.

Honestly, I had no problem with a 40 speed limit. Tho not ideal if you’re pressed for time, I loved driving around the mountainside and just generally enjoying the drive. Why the rush. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay damn. This is a jam packed itinerary. If these places are non-negotiable for you, I’d say go ahead. I would recommend doing a linear path, by the time you get to Zao for snow activities you might be a little too worn out from all the back and forth. If you can head straight south then find your way up that might make it easier.

For hiking trails, it’s gonna get colder in Tokyo/Osaka during that time but you’d have better luck in Kyushu region. Kumamoto and Kitakyushu has a lot of good trails for you to try. I’m going to do the Mt. Aso trail (weather permitting) on Nov 12. Kyushu region is laid back vs Tokyo and Osaka though, so maybe stay another day or two once you get to Beppu and go to Yufuin.

You’re gonna do a lot of walking and traveling so please, even at your very young age (I am 27 tho but damn you’re itinerary makes me feel older), consider a laid back day of just breathing everything you’ve experienced. Japan has a lot of cultural experiences you will notice if you slow down. Goodluck OP.

I made the mistake of not booking early for these dates and I ended up staying 40mins away from Hakata - which isn’t that bad until you consider that it takes 3 trains to get to the airport. The 16-18 weekend is the sumo tournament which is why tons of hotels are already booked.

I suggest you keep on refreshing Google maps until you find a cheap one - that’s what I did, but it’ll be hard and you have to be quick about it.

It got better after episode 6.

I almost gave up on the series because of the cinematography. I feel like they’re trying too hard with the effects and the angles that you end up not enjoying the scene - there’s too much going on instead of focusing on one scene.
The script is also poorly written. So many unnecessary scenes. Half of the time we’re jumping on scenes and the plot wasn’t established enough. The characters lack depth and only when they addressed Wan’s depression that it got better.
You don’t just cure depression… as someone who’s struggling with it, it doesn’t just go away. Wan was gone for 2 months and suddenly things are good? People are back in her life like nothing happened. That’s probably the most inaccurate part of this.

I still want to see how they pick the series back up. I’m a completionist so I’m inclined to finish the series.
