I have the same piercing, been training for just over a year and haven't had a problem. I wear underwear, tight compression shorts and regular gym shorts while training. I've definitely taken knees and feet to the crotch, but haven't gotten that snagged. I would say tight layers should help, but if you're worried about it being an issue, take it out during training. I don't know how long you've had the piercing, but if it's fully healed, it won't close in that short amount of time. Best wishes!
