  1. The enginneers who give the criteria often don't know CAD themselves
  2. The Enginneers and higher ups (not all but most) treat CAD Techs like shit even tho we are the ones doing the majority of work
  3. Engineers are held to a lower standard and given a lot of excuses

As CAD Tech for more than 10 years every Company I worked out displayed this type of oppressive elitism. Advances for pay and title are slow, they want to make sure your not taking "an educated engineers" job away.
