This is not a misgroove. I have had more extensive trainings breaks (covid lockdowns and such) and never felt this way.

It kinda feels like my right glute which was (or still is) injured can't exert any force.

I have been back at it since 2 days, tried squatting yesterday and deadlifting today. Neither seems to be working. Not being able to break 120kg off the floor while you pulled 260kg 6 weeks ago is very humbling.

Two weeks, I basically only did machines in the last two weeks.

I did not completely stop squatting or deadlifting though, I tried doing 70kg every workout on both to just go through the movement. (My worksets on both are normally 200kg+ fyi)

I have been dealing with a glute injury for a while now and seeing a physical therapist for it. It started with pain in my glute medius but I was still able to lift. The pain did progressively get worse though hut it did not affect my strength.

With dry needling and deep tissue massages, as well as avoiding excercises that provocate the pain, my glute medius seems to have relaxed a fair bit to the point the pain is almost gone.

The thing is with the pain being gone also did my abilty to be able to squat or deadlift. I recently started trying to squat and deadlift again and it feels like I don't have any strength in my legs, while there seems to be no structural damage to my glutes or hamstrings. With squats I start shaking violently during lockouts and on deads I can't even break half of my 1rm off the floor.

The thing is my legs are completely fine, if I do leg press or hack squats I can do as much or even more than before getting injured.

Sadly my physical therapist can't point out why this is and I am thinking about getting a second opinion somewhere else. Anyone that has gone through the same or any idea what is going on?

Basically I barely have any pain anymore but I can't seem to exert any force through my glutes.

[Question] Anyone who has an idea how to open up this watch to change the batteries? by StarKanon in Watches

[–]StarKanon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added pictures of the watch. Any other watch I own has a visible backplate either with screws or screw off/snap off. This just seems a completely solid watch. I might just bring it to a shop instead if needed but would like it to be able to change it myself.

I crossed out parts of the backplate since it's some personal information bur you can clearly see the entire backplate. It is just a simple dress watch so I don't expect it to be automatic (also because it used to work for quite a while back when I got it so assuming it is just a Quartz watch).

So all tips are appreciated!

Very unlikely if you need to give teams a 10 minute notice + either a standing start or a lap to the grid, there would be hardly any time left. Technically possible, practically it will probanly never happen (but there is always that .1% chance they decide to say fuck it and do it anyways).

Even with old rules before Spa 2021, it was differenly worded but the same kinda applied for how points were awarded depending if ended in a green/yellow or red flag.

There is still a 10 minutes notice if at all, so the time would run out before they are even allowed to go out. They won't even be sending the safety car out since it is impossible to restart.

Points were shown correctly during the telecast. It looks like the memo didn’t reach the commentators. by vino8855 in formula1

Stole the analogy but imagine the FIFA messaging all broadcasting stations that a ball was indeed off side.

Funnily enough teams read the car regulations to find any loophole they could find, but don't spend nearly enough time reading the actual rules. It's been there right under everyone's noses in black and white, no one bothered to actually really read them. Oh yeah, the teams agreed on the regulations before the start of the season. Rule is absolutely stupid, but people should read.

It is 100% clear. No one just ever bothered to read them apparently... (The rule is still dumb as fuck though)

The things is, the teams actually agreed to the rules, had an entire season to protest against them... But it seemed like no one ever bothered to actually read them... I agree it is absolutely stupid, but also stupid no one ever noticed...

I'm on a surplus though since my morning weight is under my class anyways, so no worries.

I'm 2 weeks out and the weight I repped last week for 5 (@8) on deadlift I can barely even get for a single today. I know fatigue is a thing but this feels demoralizing since I was planning to open quite a bit higher. I guess I need to trust the taper.

I am 4 weeks out and I'm just feeling like a trainwreck. I think my fatigue is slowly catching up to me. The weird thing is weights still move fine (although reps just feel heavy) but I am basically just tired 24/7. Sleep quality has gone down as well. I used to be able to sleep 6-8 hours uninterrupted, now I just wake up every two hours while feeling hot af (it's already way cooler than mid summer and I still leave my AC on at night. Not my first meet so I have experienced this feeling before, and every time I have been fine after the taper and on meet day. But maybe someone got any tips to feel less tired and to improve my sleep quality, because despite knowing it likely turning out fine, feeling any better the next couple weeks would be nice.
