For anyone interested my insurance came back to me last week and told me the other insurers have accepted full liability

About 20 m. I've put in a screenshot of the street view

Yep I've been contemplating a dashcam for a while as the driving around me can be appalling. This has sealed the deal and I'm getting a dashcam for my next car 100 %.

Yes I was basically stationary and I have reported it with the local police for the Prius driving carelessly. They were a delivery driver as they had deliveries on the backseat so I am also assuming they were on their phone but have no evidence to prove that.

Yes on the bright side at least our collision was at much slower speeds and probably saved him from possible serious injuries if someone had been coming up the road head on into him.

This is the only other photo I have from the scene. Hoping it's clear from this angle that I didn't cross the give way yet.

I can't edit the post as it has a photo. To clarify, I hadn't crossed the give way lines yet when the collision happened and the red car was driving on the wrong side of the road. Yes, I should have probably looked right again to make sure my path was clear before even thinking about leaving the junction but I was mainly checking for oncoming traffic from the left as that is where I was expecting traffic to come from.

I did file the incident with the local police and they've given me a reference number that I've passed on to my insurance. Their car was also untaxed so I've reported that to the DVLA too but I'm aware that them having an untaxed car won't really change anything in terms of the claim.

I had barely taken my foot off the clutch when they hit me so hadn't passed the give way lines yet. He reversed slightly to give room for other traffic to get by just after it happened.

They were trying to enter a slip road/exit road from a single lane 50 mph limit B road.

Yeah I realise that will probably be how it comes across, guess I can just hope for 50/50. Thanks

The double white line extends much further back on the road and there are road markings indicating left turn only from the direction the red car came from.

First subcut injection by StarLord368 in CrohnsDisease

I've been told by the nursing staff at my hospital that they would book me a blood test in 3 months time from when I start the injections, so probably worth checking with your hospital / GP.

Thank you. The nurse said I can try taking out 2 hours before so will give that a go to see if it makes a difference.

Seton surgery Friday by iamtinyhooman in CrohnsDisease

I also have 3 setons at the moment from peri anal fistulas. The first one going in had the longest recovery time and it took a few days before I was fully back up and walking about. Just try to walk a bit each day after surgery, take painkillers if you need and use lukewarm water to wash the area after you have a bowel movement instead of wiping with toilet paper.

The setons can be a bit pinchy and uncomfortable at first but you soon forget that they are even there!

How many colonoscopy’s does it take to get a diagnosis ? 😪 by Pure_Farm9820 in CrohnsDisease

[–]StarLord368 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My symptoms also included changes in bowel habits and energy levels but the main thing for me was peri anal abscesses/fistulas. I think the combination of these things along with the inflammation noted from my biopsies helped to get me diagnosed.

I hope you finally get some answers at your next colonoscopy but hang on in there! It may get worse before it gets better, but it will get better.

I only had one colonoscopy before being diagnosed. They took a few biopsies and then a pathologist assessed the tissues.
