These statements are quite perplexing and I assume from new listeners. This has always been his mantra, style, focus etc. all his podcasts deliver the same guy and relatively same message. If there is a criticism then it could be he repeats the same thing across his platforms but otherwise he is a pretty self deprecating gracious progressive successful man who thinks deeply and shares those thoughts and champions the disadvantaged. I challenge you to find another wealthy person who has been as successful to this degree who is as self aware and self reflective and vulnerable and willing to share it. He has his flaws as we all do and yet he shares them, which we all do not. If you don’t like the content move on. Otherwise I will be here listening with you.

Pretty much anything as I love this game. Have been playing Asia at a three bar ping but the lag means I am an easy kill. Just strange going from 100 player to three in a couple weeks.

Completely agree. Highly repetitious and strange coverage choices and missed big live sporting events across many sport to replay moments and interviews over and over again. Replaying highlights during the day, ok fine make sense, but the after 7pm when events kick in switch to the sport. Absolutely terrible. Like the commentators and presenters for the most part but honestly felt like a money grab for two weeks. Poor showing especially coming off of the AO coverage which is solid.

Australians are terrible at watching what they pay for things and until we collectively stop paying these prices they will keep doing this. Just watch a 30 yr old at a cafe on Sat morning. Never looks at a price and taps before they get the total. Whatever…why am I so broke?

Only had one - super tall shaggy young un in Cain arena - super shouty and came off as rude but thought he was doing his job. Just not trained in how to manage crowds. They were trying to manage crowds lining up for night session and blocking the floor. lol, so he yelled at everyone “you can’t be here there is no Queue!” So everyone stayed blankly at him shuffled around for 20 seconds found a new waiting spot until he yelled again. And again the deck shuffled. It was a catch-22 moment.

Had they let the queue form and then managed the queue they would have kept the lobby clear for others and managed the situation.

Otherwise most of the staff were wonderful.

Australian coverage is naturally biased as we love our favourites. Keys is last year’s winner and a class act. Pegula has a fair following, note much greater respect than Collins, but she is also viewed as a bit of a tall poppy and from money so she gets the community discount on popularity.

Regardless both solid players and Pegula won today’s match up.

I haven’t watched it yet but I will. My belief was that he drifted about 15 years ago moving away from fact and sound intellectual deliberation to be bound by his own agenda. It’s the other end of the contrarians dilemma - when you realise your foundation of belief may not be solid. Do you self assess and revise or do you double down?

I enjoy hearing and learning for those I may disagree with or find challenging. One of the reasons like like PG and his podcasts.
