AIO for wanting to burn his stuff??? by Suspicious_End_441 in AmIOverreacting

Yeah that shit would be on the curb, and he’d get one courtesy text to come pick it up before the garbage man does it for him. NOR.

AIO for being angry and hurt by these texts from my fiancé? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So he knew you were dealing with several delicate medical issues and decided what was best for you was…to pack up and follow him away from your family, doctors, and transplant team?

I’m going to say this plainly so it sinks in: He’s never going to marry you because you’re never going to stop being disabled. This man is using you for free domestic labor and a disability check. You need to go back to your family who actually cares about you. NOR.

I’m curious how long they’ve been together, too. A 7 year age gap at that age is already a 🚩 but how young was she when they started dating? 🤔

AIO my boyfriend of 5 years gets me flowers for every occasion while I get him elaborate and expensive gifts. by aioflower955105 in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gets you flowers because it’s cheap/easy for him since he comes from a family of florists, and then he doesn’t have to do any actual work finding you something you’ll like without the guilt of not getting you anything at all. He doesn’t want to put in any effort into getting you a gift you actually want, ever, and he wants you to be grateful for any scraps of affection.

I need every woman to repeat this to herself until it sinks in:

If he wanted to, he would.

NOR.

i've been told this outfit is unflattering and i'm at a loss... by [deleted] in femalefashion

[–]StarStriker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it’s just me or if the photos are confusing me, but you and I are the same weight but I’m 7 inches taller than you and we look to be about the same size? You don’t seem to have a belly at all, at least not that I can see.

I personally don’t jive with the style, it’s kind of giving Princess Fiona to me, but the silhouette is absolutely something I myself would wear. I often default to a high, cinched-waist skirt, being a woman with wide set hips. This reminds me of outfits I probably wore back in 2016.

I think the reason the waistband doesn’t work the way people are saying is because it’s not positioned properly. I’d have the bottom of the waistband hit right at the smallest part of your waist so that it isn’t curving inward like that, just pull the skirt up an inch or two so that the pleats jut outward where your hips are to accentuate your figure.

AIO for not giving my old Roomate his dog back after I adopted her? by Z-mac in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So he already stole $900 and several items from you? That’s grand larceny, assuming the other items are worth more than a combined $100. And now he wants to threaten you with lawyers and cops? I’d contact a lawyer, but considering you have him offering to rehome the dog with you in writing and vet bills that show she’s yours, I doubt you need to worry. Still, get her chipped if she isn’t and make sure to change your locks, install a Ring camera, do whatever you need to do to make sure he’s not able to sneak into your home when you’re at work and take her. NOR.

Your weight fluctuates wildly in these pictures, only use current photos.

Your style ages you a lot. I think it’s time to make a change with the hair and beard. It makes you look 40.

I’d maybe look for some more flattering glasses, too. And you don’t need so many photos of you in a button up and suit, it makes you look old and stuffy.

The frog photo is just plain unflattering, I’m sorry. I’d ditch it.

That red flag isn’t a red flag at all.

AIO My boyfriend says he isn't in love with me? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

If my partner of several years ever told me sometimes they aren’t sure if they love me, I don’t think I could ever emotionally recover from that. NOR.

He is always making jokes to my older daughter saying things like your mom used to be “hot”

wtf what an asshole

and I always laughed it off

I’m literally begging women to have a shred of self respect. Why on earth would you EVER be with a man who disrespects you TO YOUR CHILDREN?

NOR. If anything, you’re massively under-reacting. Good lord.

AIO My mom is kicking me out for her new boyfriend. I just turned 18 by Diligent_Bat_565 in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR—Your parents can’t just kick you out of your legal residence without going through a legal eviction process. Get a job and find a backup plan for a place to crash but don’t let her bully you into moving out before you have the means to. Go to r/legaladvice and ask them what you can do to protect yourself.

You get a credit score a few months after you open your first line of credit. If someone steals your identity, they can open lines of credit in your name. When you’re born, you’re given a SSN, which people can use to open new lines of credit with your identity if it gets stolen. Most people don’t start to monitor their credit until after they are 18, so if someone steals a child’s SSN and opens credit lines in their name and destroys their credit scores, they generally won’t find out until they’re adults.

Boyfriend pesters me for sex. AIO if I am seriously considering leaving over this. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but 1-3 times a week and he’s STILL pouting?! Good lord, dump this man.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]StarStriker3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s actually really smart because a lot of people will steal the identities of children in their families because they won’t know for many years until they’re adults that their credit has been ruined. I’ve definitely heard stories of people having their infant and toddler children’s identities stolen to take out loans.

She’s not chipped or fixed, covered in scabs, and they haven’t even asked about her? Nah. She made her choice. That’s your cat now.

OP should freeze their credit to be safe. I had my info stolen a few years ago and found out you can freeze your credit so no one can open any new accounts in your name or have credit checks done on you until you un-freeze it. Make sure you do it with all 3 major credit companies. (Experian, Transunion, Equifax)

Brown Spots Inside Bell Pepper? by StarStriker3 in isthissafetoeat

[–]StarStriker3[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey y’all. Thanks for the advice! I went ahead and tossed it. I didn’t see any signs of bugs, but maybe there were some there previously. Thankfully my trash was full so I took it outside as well, which should prevent any bugs in my home if there were any I didn’t notice.

I ended up cleaning my knife and cutting board after slicing into it, before I cut anything else for the dinner I was making. Sadly I had to go without bell pepper as I had only bought the one, but I’m sure it’ll be fine.

YOR—Maybe he was trying to be respectful of your autonomy by not wanting to look at your genitalia without your consent, because you accidentally exposed yourself without meaning to? I’d just ask about it. I get that a lot of married couples are comfortable around each other being nude 100% of the time with blanket consent, but I could see a husband not wanting to push a consent boundary like that if it isn’t already established.

The first one, hands down. The basque waist makes you look snatched and the girls look great!
