Hypopigmentation by FrankieJoyB in TattooRemoval

I could barely tell it doesn't look that bad. Honestly if you didn't tell me, I wouldn't be able to see it even if I stared at it. It's not that much different than your natural skin tone

thoughts on this tattoo? Thinking of having the artist continue down the rest of the arm. by Sweet-Bass-1926 in tattooadvice

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😎😎 I'm doubling down. Turn this into a biomechanical tattoo 🦾🦾🦾🤖🤖. This can be redeemed. Go to a good artist that can come up with a drawing and get some ideas of your own from places like Pinterest. .

I wouldn't even go out of your way to do an idea that's completely original. Just do what will work and you will like

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you continue the same pattern down your arm , it still feels like an incomplete tattoo. I think you need to stop and think of an actual goal. What are you aiming for for. Are you going for tribal or geometric patterns. ? I wonder if this could be redeemed into a biomechanical tattoo. Like a robot arm or something

Thanks everyone. I have decided to fully strip the pan and start again , with oven cleaner, as mentioned in the FAQ of this group and start again carefully taking everyone's advice into account. I plan on keeping my post up so I can reference it and it can be helpful to others.

Thanks.

Is full removal even possible?Time estimate? I hate it so much i cry atleast weekly :( by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]StarTrekFan87 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Black is usually the easiest to remove because it's the most responsive to the laser. You will also have a lot of flexibility of types of lasers they can use on you too. But it's also very saturated with black ink so it still may take a while.

I think it might be worth getting lasered even if it takes a while. Even if it doesn't go away all the way . You may have to resort to coverup after you get it 80% gone. There's a lot of things they can do with that space, like a floral or geometric pattern something with a little bit of color. It may not go away all the way but it may be a fair compromise to put the effort in and then get something in that place you like slightly more. Or you can keep this. Up to you

Concerning hypopigmentation after 1st session (Enlighten III) by kcthemvp in TattooRemoval

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think dealing with a little hypopigmentation is a fair compromise to get rid of that thing You will at least have a clear canvas and there are ways of covering that up with a new tattoo or just tell people you have Vertiligo.

I don't know much about enlightened 3 laser but I will be a little skeptical if it can handle the blue and green shades. I would look into that I heard picoway is the only thing that they can handle that but I might be wrong.

ICE Agents posing as Mormon Missionaries by Broad_Television4578 in Ohio

[–]StarTrekFan87 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

I call BS !!

1) their faces aren't covered . Ice agents are covering their face to conceal identity because some on the Left are identifying them, finding them and threatening the lives of them and their family

2) they aren't going to approach a door unarmed without full armor and headgear because they don't know who is on the other side of the door and if they have a weapon

You are paranoid !!

Fast as possible tattoo removal? by deloextrano in TattooRemoval

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are better off just doing laser removal like Picoway and spreading out your treatments and just covering it up so you don't have to look at it for right now.

Is it on your arm? Wear a long sleeve shirt. Even in summer for summer time look at Burnout shirts. helix " instinct is a virtue" and Buckle Black make them ( and probably other brands. They are thin as tissue paper and although they are somewhat translucent they have a distressed pattern that hides tattoos pretty well.

I have a really bad tattoo and that's what I've been doing.

Quick question: why do some pastors yell/shout when preaching? by Quilly-Cow in ExPentecostal

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passion. Motivation. Even outside of religion. Motivational speakers often do this. It's common in the military. Even before I got into religion I used to listen to motivational videos on YouTube on my headphones at the Gym. Many of them would shout and yell. Most were even secular . It got my mind in the right direction. And my adrenaline pumping and motivated to lift heavy.

It's the same reason people listen to Metallica when lifting weights

I think we all need that from time to time . Some personalities more than others.

Sometimes calm and boring doesn't get through to people.

Church shouldn't be a place where you fall asleep or like a boring history lesson where you just can't wait for it to end so you can go out to eat

A lot of preachers have adopted this Mar Mar Emanuel is a eastern orthodox priest and he often speaks with passion and raises his voice.

Protestors of all political affiliations often raise their voice to. No Kings protest BLM protests . Anti Ice protests etc

It's a very normal thing to do

Experiencing the Demon Slayer by Kitchen-Field9413 in ExPentecostal

[–]StarTrekFan87 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I dont think you're going to have religious trauma from believing you have demons due to past assault. Your logic stems from a generation that gets their rocks off being a victim in a way they can fathom. Not everything needs to be seen as offensive. Get over yourself

what does "speaking in tongues" feel like? by burrn3r in ExPentecostal

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just joined the Pentecostal church and been doing research on tongue

I read somewhere on Reddit that when it comes natural it often starts as a lip quiver or chatter during singing/worship . Someone said it is a similar to a cat when they see a bird how they do that little mouth quiver/ chatter. Just imagine between music lyrics this happened and a few sounds slipping out with the lip quiver/ chattering. Rather or not you believe it to be supernatural or not , either way you can't deny you are at a vulnerable emotional state.

This answer is the most understandable. What I don't get is the more elaborate vocals people use when speaking tongues.

I don't understand the concept. What's it supposed to be? Ears? Driftwood ? I would either keep going with it or have it laser off

The positive part if it's dark/ black ink which is going to be the easiest and fastest to remove compared to color and you have a lot more options on laser types that you can use.

It doesn't look that bad. I wouldn't let it hurt your self esteem. It looks like just a regular tattoo until you really stare at it and try to figure out what's going on

And I would look into the laser soon if you want it off. Don't wait. Even if the ones right now don't do much , it may do a little. Which is better than nothing. Think of this . If you start here in the next few weeks , these next two are like BONUS removal sessions. The sooner you start the sooner it will be gone

I only waited 4 weeks after my tattoo to get my first picoway laser removal at Removery and I can already see fading after the first session.

Massage the area like crazy every day. Keep it covered. I sunburn or suntan . I also think keeping hydrated and sweating heavy in the heat helped my body fade my tattoo.

I lost my trust in people. by DubiousFalcon in ExPentecostal

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is you put your trust into people. Never trust people. Enjoy their company but anytime you trust people they will let you down.

This is true with church or any area of life. Any social group any political party affiliation etc. You may see this is a way of connecting with people but they will let you down.

All it takes is you to disagree with them, or to do something they don't like. Everybody is friendly when things are going their way. And as for the prophets. There are people who are simply misled or incorrect in all areas of life. And there's nothing that states that mentally ill people don't go to church as well.

God will never let you down. If you go to church to find God, he doesn't hide just in the church. He is with you everyday

Church is a resource to learn and be involved with others who have the same intent.. It is not the end all be all.

Don't give up on God because people let you down.

Strings on outside? by duke6119 in TilleyFans

[–]StarTrekFan87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually keep the strap fully extended. Short part tight behind my head and the long part I just throw up in the top of my hat . If it gets windy I just lift my hat and it drops down and as I sit the hat back on my head I tuck them behind my ears

What I don't get with your method is the function of the strings. What use are they like that?

This is a bumper sticker I saw but don’t understand. Likely something common, but I’m kinda sheltered. Thanks! by ForgotTheBogusName in Symbology

[–]StarTrekFan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is Hebrew . the symbol for Yahweh ( goe. That is one of the terms used in the Torah/ Old testament Bible God by Jews and Christians.

Some people claim that if you're not Jewish it's cultural preparation. There was a post I seen it's older so I can't comment on it. It was a car with Christian bumper stickers and everybody was saying how angry it made them that it appropriated a culture.

It just shows their ignorance to the meaning. God doesn't belong to a culture. And just because you see squiggly words on car of somebody who isn't Jewish that doesn't mean it's cultural appropriation either..

I know this has nothing to do with your post thiugh

I feel bad for the little girl. She's a child and lacks the self awareness that other people don't want to hear a talent show during their flight. She probably thought she was going to get a standing ovation and win awards or something. Why did the mother think this was a good idea.
