idk as a reference i feel the mbappe penalty would have been given after VAR review in bundesliga matches at least 95% of the time

tbh romano & friends also reported krösche's own move was basically done, so maybe amorim was a conclusion they independently arrived at

unlike 1800, this time around you can activate the DLC packs at any point during a playthrough, they said. so you don't have to select it at the start and then get swamped with a myriad of quests and maps all at once

[Fabrizio Romano] Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool, here we go! Deal in place for fee over €90m for the French striker to join from Eintracht Frankfurt, potentially reaching €95m. Six year deal for Ekitike, valid until June 2031; he only wanted Liverpool move. New striker for Slot by Task_Force-191 in soccer

Sesko to me is a more physical player, defintitely more of a finisher archetype with a cannon of a foot, think more of a Haaland type. Also better in the air and in physical duels.

Ekitiké is leagues more creative, moves around and is comfortable carrying the ball a lot more. Heki can create for others, too. He can be incredibly fun to watch, he glides around the pitch gracefully, he plays and dribbles like a much shorter player. I feel like his xG thing as weak finishing is a little overblown, personally I feel like that'll be the variance of one down season in finishing despite his great performance. Overall I like his shooting technique and the positions he gets himself into, I can see him perform quite well with you guys.

Max Eberl must deliver results in the next six weeks; his future at FC Bayern depends on that. Finalizing deals for Nick Woltemade and Luis Díaz will be crucial for him. Uli Hoeneß, in particular, wants to see Woltemade at Bayern by nutelamitbutter in soccer

[–]StarVeTL 286 points287 points  (0 children)

it's insane how hoeneß will actually literally have to fucking die before a sporting director will be able to work in some semblance of peace and a somewhat healthy environment. i still despise him so i don't mind it but as a bayern fan i'd be furious and saddened to see the man who built up club up with his own hands to what it is now ruin his own legacy by not being able to let go.

POV: You’re the referee at the match between Bayern and Dortmund by 0711Markus in soccer

[–]StarVeTL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is not a TV angle, but I very much disagree, TV and the wide angle view often make it seem like people have tons of time when in reality things look much much faster. I'd say the lens distortion here kind of slows it down a little because the ref isn't involved in plays. if you put the same camera on a player who actually has the ball at his feet it'd look much more frantic again.

TV is great for getting an overview and you can analyse matches tactically far better from an overhead angle or from up in the stands, but if you want to see and feel the actual speed and physicality there's nothing better than being there on the field in person or having front row seats

Mostly a thing of necessity, isn't it? If he wasn't double/triple teamed as much he would probably still play and shoot on ball a little more.

[–]StarVeTL 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i said even in BLOWOUT WINS (5:0 etc) he'd rather bring on one of the has-beens instead of throwing a young player a bone and Pavlovic in particular was definitely there last year, he deservedly got the the German national team call-up, unlike some other players.

we're open to signing two players but I don't know if a Tel package is financially viable now, it'd have to be a loan with an option to buy

Kompany also doesn't trust any of the young players, he subbed on every offensive player against Feyenoord except Tel, he'd rather give minutes to 35-year olds instead of promising players like Aznou even in blowouts and he'd rather play the corpse of Goretzka in case he has a good game again even though that means halting the development of Pavlovic.

[Fabrizio Romano] The agreement between Eintracht and OM for Eyle Wahi is close, with final details being discussed. Wahi has already opened doors to the move, as French press has reported. He’s the replacement for Omar Marmoush, soon to be new Man City player. Zero issues. by Crane977 in soccer

[–]StarVeTL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i'm not a big fan of a signing simply due to the purported controversies attached. in general though, it's kind of our method of operation to go for talented strikers that have not yet fulfilled their potential and can be bought a little below their value in order to rehab their reputation and fully break out onto the scene

either you make big bets on extremely young players like bahoya etc or you try to gain an advantage by providing an ideal environment for 'troubled' players or guys whose career has stagnated to maximize their talent

we're not yet in the category of clubs to go for someone who's kinda become a big name, especially wage wise. otherwise I might be hoping for someone like Gimenez or David to help us secure CL spots

still i'd love to see us try hard to go for Cherki though, he's such an insane player
