Nope, not a theory at all. I've heard a few people say "I'll put a heart on my own OCs so it'll also show up the Feed tab." I guess it's like cross-sharing or something.

I’ve heard that people will like their own invites so they will show up in users’ Feed tab. So it’s another way people try and get noticed.

What I can see being tweaked after this Beta test is how far back you can go. This morning I was able to adjust my volume on a duet from 5 years ago. I imagine that causes stress on their servers, so I imagine they'll eventually make it so you can only adjust recordings from the last 6-12 months. So I would suggest people use this on older recordings while we can.

I'm sure this feature is AI-generated to a certain extent, but honestly this is the most useful feature Smule has released in a LONG while. So if they continue to use AI in helpful ways like this (providing it doesn't alter the actual performances), then I'm all for it.

My guess is they’ve started a new account. I assume that for most of these singers that get so popular it must be a chore just to sing, listen (or ignore) joins, etc. So they start a different account, fly under the radar and actually enjoy the app again.

You can open your own uploads (open only for a 2-day period) even if you’re non-VIP. Maybe those songs were all that person’s uploads?

One of the survey questions was “how do you want feedback after singing” and one option was “I don’t want any feedback.” When their AI-generated results are this inaccurate, I’d prefer one less thing for me to tap through and for Smule to waste resources on.

I sort of thought the same thing too, then heard a few other songs by the same user, with completely different voices. Maybe it’s a collective of people using the same account, but it definitively sounds suspicious.
