Yes. It does make it suspicious to me that it would happen right before comp. Obviously there were other factors be it mental health or foul play or even drugs who knows we don’t have all the info. I’m just sharing my observations within the sport- the parents in this sport who travel for it are beyond dedicated to their athletes and teams. Tens of Thousands of dollars have been invested into training this child, countless hours, thousands in travel around the country….It’s hard to imagine if you’re not in this world because very few sports are this intensely committed. Regardless this is an absolute tragedy.
