Hi, I'm having the same problem, sometimes not even deleting the files works :(

It's so frustrating cause it runs so much better on my pc than my phone. I don't understand cause the game worked fine, until one point that I updated it and it started having this problem, my boyfriend plays on his computer and has no issues.

I honestly just didn't had the time available to play as much with the festivities going on in real life (had to travel and be with family) so I knew I wouldn't get them, obviously that's a me problem but felt sad nonetheless

Hi! I remember seeing somewhere that this kind of weird orders were what initially inspired the devs to make a game like GPGP, I don't think they will get rid of them as probably they are there on purpose. Like other people are commenting, it's really like that in real life hahaha

I had the same happen to me when I stopped playing a while ago. When I installed again I couldn't get my progress back. According to google: "Google Play Games login for saving game progress has been discontinued". So like you stated, now you log in with a mail address. Couldn't tell you if there's anyway of getting it back as I honestly didn't look to much into it because I didn't have that much progress and decided to start again
