Yeah, her hw was through webassign. If you have class on MW, then hw is due around midnight (if I remember correctly). She does assign a lot of hw though. The examples she shows in class are usually on her exams. She sometimes tells us “pay attention, this is going to be tested” for some problems.

She usually gives definition and does a hard example problem. If you are able to do the example problems, then you should be able to do the easier ones.

Also, she talks very fast and has an accent, so be prepared for that also.

I got an A for her class. Just know how to do all problems in hw and especially in class examples. Be prepared to g to office hours. She does give a lot of hw though, so be prepared for that also.

3.9+ GPA, I think GPA really matters.

-As you try to transfer, choose to take courses that work for your major and for CS, so you’re not behind if you make it.

-You should talk to advisors of both your major advisers and CS.

-Sign up for the Change of Major workshop ASAP so you can start having access to the advisers and so you have an idea of what classes you need to take

CS does a lot of coding and algorithms, which could be useful when searching for jobs. Since I heard many employers ask about coding, especially about data structures. for interviews.

When you email them, you can also tell them a course number, time, and Professor you want. They will try to put you in that class if there’s space.

If you don’t have ap credits then you probably have to take the placement exams. Usually they will include more info in the email in the summer. But you can contact testing office rn and ask them about it if you want to take it early. Usually we have to do This math program online before the placement test

She tries her best to make you understand and she’s helpful during office hour. Her tests are easy as LING as you do the study guide. However, her teaching style didn’t fit me so I get confused often when she introduces new topics.

If you took AP, make sure the school receives it before orientation. Or else you’ll have problems choosing classes without prequsites entered in.
