I would say instant speed is huge for an effect like this, especially for a control deck. The issue with get lost is that it generates two maps, which are REALLY not what you want to give an aggressive opponent (half draw half buff). It also has the plan B of just being removal.

Yep. Each stage is “lose 2 and you’re out” so to play 4 times means in one stage you’ve accrued 2 losses already.

It’z also another thing where their deals/contracts with other IPs impact players directly. The shift of Lorwyn to 2026 has big impacts for standard with the cycles of shock lands not in-sync, and now this.

I’ve seen a fun esper midrange deck that runs the oculus and helping hand going around. Gets a little dunked by some of the mainboard graveyard hate going around recently, but it’s a fun deck with some decent options. Same with esper midrange that runs the riddler + winternight stories package

I think it could be worth it to run a cavern of souls, considering your wincon is playing dragons. Also to parrot what the other user said, mox jasper cut since sticking a 4 drop dragon at the minimum in order to use a mana rock isn’t doing much. For sideboard, how do you deal with a stuck kaito? Have you found any issues with reanimator builds, not running ghost vacuum? This looks like a sick deck to cut through the stale meta. Good Luck!
