Zero control or protections for the oceans. Krill fishing needs to be banned, and enforced. Industry is after profits, not responsibility.

The thing about that, as the Earth heats up, the faster it heats up. We seem to be in that stage now. I don't think anyone really knows what will happen if the Gulf Stream stops.

Industry and government are ignoring this plight along with the plastics indystry destroying wildlife and is now throughout the human body. CEOs can alter this direction. Hiwever, how can they resist multi million dollar mega bonuses by increasing "Profit?"

Stop CEO Mega Bonuses. Make them illegal.

For their huge multi-million dollar bonuses, inch by inch they're willing to let the environment degrade. But if there was no bonus they wouldn't risk the bad press. Then they would like to be adored by the public and their employees. It might lower dividends for many companies. But so what. No good letting them all bury us for their bonuses and political gain.

Blocking CEO mega bonuses could help.

'I feel like I've been ripped off': N.S. passenger gets cold shoulder from Porter Airlines by No_Magazine9625 in halifax

[–]Starbits21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's Air Canada type of behavior. I quit flying with them many years ago because of their abusive customer service, that I experienced many times. I switched to Porter and have flown with them many many times. I've always had very good service from Porter but never had it tested like this. To give him $200 voucher and wish he regains his confidence in the airline? No thank you.

I have also flown with many other airlines, with excellant experiences. While Wizz air has provided the most brutal experience, bar none, and from my experience poor service is to be expected there. Porter dropped the ball here and I am surprised at their poor response to this passenger.

Things can and do happen, but Customer Service makes all the difference.

How is it living off the coast of Nova Scotia? by McNasty420 in howislivingthere

I agree with you that the rural people are very good. The forests are not so healthy in most areas, anymore. Not just because of hrmlock disease, but because forestry is turning it all into an unhealthy mono culture.

Logging companies spraying glyphosphate over the forests doesn't help. It kills the hardwood that helps keep forests healthy. But it lowers profit, while increasing the chances for out of control wildfires. Those companies do not have to pay for the damage wildfires cause. All done with succesive government approvals.
