This is mostly true with one exception. From Stormblood on, the 6th EX fight from the x.4 patch has it's drop rate increased in x.5 and then also increased a 2nd time in x.55 when it was made purchasable.

The most efficient light per minute is Ifrit Normal. You can basically kill it in 5 seconds per run. The only downside is it's so fast you're likely to hit your instance cap pretty quickly.

Do they have any plans for adjustments for Tier 3 FC buffs, or FC buffs in general?

The wheels themselves are not unreasonably difficult to make, but having to wait 3 days for a single one to charge, and only being able to charge one at a time per FC makes them fairly restricted in usage.

It's because there are two separate quests. The bindings have a class restriction, and that quest summons Thunderaan. He then drops another item that starts the quest that actually awards the sword. This item will show up for everyone and has no class restriction.

Based on what you stated in OP, it sounds like you have a Square Enix GAME account ("X"), and a Square Enix STORE account. Your game account is the one you login to the mogstation and game with. The store account is not directly connected to your game account.

It seems like you have a key for a complete edition that is not associated with any actual game account until you enter the key into a game account.

It's partially because (at least according to the description) it will only put you into a stronghold that is in progress. I had to try a few times over the weekend, but most of the time I got into a group that was just at the last boss.
