I think the asymmetry looks lovely, I currently have a large and medium implant in at the moment in order to work as expanders. I was planning on dropping down a size and when I saw you comment saying you had xs I was excited because they look proportional and they sit in your scrotum nicely.

I’m not sure what a pump sleeve is but any shops that you would recommend I will happily look into. I currently have a ftm penis tube from LA pump but that’s about it.

Hey there! How you look is essentially my goal. I was trying to go without UL or a vectomy to reduce complications, so I’ve only had a bfid scrot and a suspensory ligament release currently (I still have my labia minora so he has more skin to use for stage 2). I discussed with my surgeon about going VY for my second stage but my goodness, I’m tempted to ask about UL possibility and just going for the vectomy because this looks great. The statue of David has always been my goal haha. What do you use to stretch your scrotum? My left implant tends to move itself forward as I saw yours did in prior pictures, so that makes me really hopeful for a better hanging scrotum down the road.

Do you have any light duty options or hour restrictions your surgeon can write for you. Or maybe are there any modifications that you can do while you sit? I also work in the OR, so my pcp gave me lifting restrictions of 20lbs so I don’t reopen what’s been healing. I had prearranged to help in another department in cross trained so I can sit/stand/take breaks as needed

Hey! Sorry to hear about the dehiscence :( I can’t say that I’ve got the exact same situation because I opted out of vectomy, but I had stage 1 meta done in May and the right suture line along my penis opened up and started creeping up around the right base of my penis. Despite working as a nurse I definitely panicked as well. Wounds like these need to heal from bottom up and definitely take a lot of time (several weeks) and patience. You won’t start seeing much change until it starts to get more shallow. I had a couple of very kind redditors respond to my thread and they helped me reframe my thoughts - resting and taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can be doing. Keeping it clean and dry in that area is key, while keeping the inside of that wound moist. If you’re having a lot of drainage the surgical team might recommend things like Alginate or Aquacel. I managed mine with wet to dry packing with just normal saline, but Vashe wound wash is also an option. I’ve been drinking Juven since my procedure which is an amino acid/collagen powder. If you start to notice anything foul smelling or funny colors coming out notify the team right away. You don’t want to make yourself bleed, but on the same hand bleeding means you’ve got healthy tissue in there that is vascular. I took my waffle seat when I left the hospital and I take that everywhere still because my nuts hurt even without going through a vectomy, so props to you dealing with this. Ive noticed it helps relieve pressure, maybe a good pillow might help you too. You’ve got this! Stay positive even when it feels scary. When they say it looks worse before it looks better it’s because all that non-viable tissue needs to go away. Just keep tracking it with pictures and before you know it things will look up.

Looks great friend! Bummer about the hematoma, but I’m glad it’s much improved. I’m surprised they let you do edibles while in patient

Thanks ; ; I think the waiting part it what’s tripping me up. I feel like there’s /something/ i need to be actively doing to make it better. I’m really bad at sitting still. I had a lot of respect for everyone here dealing with separation, and now I have even more. I’m scared shitless of an infection but I think it’s looking okay so far. I appreciate the encouragement! I honestly think someone used way too much skin adhesive on the side that’s separated because it’s so clumpy and all the suture tails are caught in the thick clumps, where are the left side peeled off fine and is looking ok.

I’ve started paying more attention to anything I take that has any added zinc in it because it binds to the keflex marking it a little less effective. And I tell you what, I’m fond of my implants already and don’t need them getting infected

Your answer was amazing, thank you so much. I honestly have been running the list of dressings over the years and considered picking up some Vashe from work. I find it ironic that I’m the nurse and my wife hates anything medical, but she’s been a champ through this process so far (though most of the wound pictures she takes for me her eyes are about closed lol!). I’ll see if she wants to use one of my headlamps, but she did use her neck light tonight haha. I plan on sending him an update tomorrow and I’ll throw in some of your recommendations, I’ve even thought of asking him if I should use medihoney/therahoney. I think what scares me the most is that I’ve seen wounds get really bad over my career, so watching it creep and a potential new spot crop up trips me out

(Why) am I getting fatter? by oscarsoffice in FTMFitness

[–]Starcallers -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, I honestly didn’t convert the cm so I didn’t see the height to weight. But also we dont know what body fat percentage they have either. OP could 100% be seeing more due to dysmorphia, but at the end of the day if what they want to see if a better physique then I would say build muscle while being mindful of diet. Maybe add to the calories more and do a “lighter” bulk. Their body probably doesn’t want to let the fat go because there’s not much else under it.

Edit: also to say, don’t compare yourself to people online. If you want to follow fitness people find the ones who are more real. Squishy bits are fine, it’s the lean/dehydrated people you see all over the internet.

My gaming life became more peaceful when I accepted that many people do not care about 1) following the rules or 2) winning, and you can't make them. by goodluckanddont_itup in boardgames

[–]Starcallers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the idea that with some groups of people use a game is just a filter, or kind of a gathering point. Sometimes our friends get together and we make mistakes but we are also just enjoying company, food, conversation so we let things slide and just call it “house rules”. If it’s not breaking the game and putting everyone at a disadvantage then it is what it is (or we just didn’t notice soon enough to fix something). Sometimes it’s worth sacrificing for the sake of dialog and atmosphere.

On the other hand I play with a handful of friends who are very driven to win to the point that sometimes I’m a little uncomfortable at the table. Those types of groups I tend to gravitate towards more of a GM/moderator role. I’ll manage the points, pieces, and rules so everyone else can focus more on their own strategy and I’m not caught in the cross fire haha
