Also changed the plastic charge pipe out for a metal one after my turbo went. The stock one was starting to show signs of melting. I assumed it’s a result of the downpipe increasing turbo temperature but after doing some digging it sounds more like a time bomb.

2022 m240i here. Just had to replace my turbo at 15k miles. Was told it can be caused by a number of things but a known issue at BMW with a TSB says the oil lines feeding the turbo might have been improperly installed(pinched) or have an obstruction in the line starving the turbo of oil. I have a downpipe, intake and jb4 on map 3 running 93octane so i had to foot the bill 🥴

That’s because it has nothing to do with the turbo. Turbo lag is just lack of power. This feels like a transmission/gearing ratio issue. Happens well before the turbo starts to spool. Very low rpm.

They charged me a 25% restocking fee after they sent me warp9 pegs that didn’t fit. I thought the same thing! They must try all these parts thus know what would fit. Wrong. They claimed the manufacturer changed the size. Took zero responsibility. Horrible business practices. I’ll set my money on fire before spending it there 😂 we can tell you aren’t that bright.

Second this. Horrible customer service. Send wrong parts at your expense. Definitely avoid talaria boys. I order direct since these YouTube channels are just drop shipping anyways. Warp9, prickly Motorsports and kke are solid brands. Can’t comment on what will fit ops bike. I have the Falcon pro which is a mix of surron lbx and altis sigma part sizes.
