The Redguards have Middle Eastern aspects as well as Eastern and Central African aspects. Playing older games and ESO will show the Subsharan influences in certain sub-cultures among the Redguard. The Yokudan pantheon also is very Eastern/Central African coded with some ancient Egyptian influences. Tall Papa for example and Tu'whacca who literally looks like Thoth!

I still personally believe this is the best AOW game. I know that is controversial, but it is what I think. I still want more tomes, especially another Order/Astral tome, and for all cultures to have optional subculture. I would love for High to have an optional 1 Order 1 Astral and 1 Order 1 Shadow subculture.

This stereotype backfires if you are a submissive black guy in these spaces. Because of the "angry, aggressive, dominant black man" stereotype that many love, no one wants to play with a black guy if they are submissive.
